Very dissatisfied and disappointed. First of all, the pastries are great. The staff needs an adjustment though. Several times we called ahead for menudo; several times we went and there wasn’t any. Either the one who answered didn’t understand the question or the language it was asked in and just answered yes (hindsight). Today I called because we got 2 large containers of menudo (to go) get home and it’s about 75% stock...I called to complain and got hung up on. Second time I call the man who answered didn’t seem too concerned with the bad customer service I received and quite frankly, his wasn’t any better (sans the hang up). Just because the bakery has been there forever doesn’t mean it’s that good; it may just mean that people would rather put up with poor service than have to go out further than their own backyard. Sometimes supporting local ain’t that great if it’s taken for granted. There are other panaderias (Supreme) and Good Luck is right across the street and their staff really...

The bread at this bakery is absolutely delicious, and I’ve been a loyal customer for a while. However, I’ve had an issue with one of the female employees overcharging me on two separate occasions.

The first time, she charged me for my full order but only gave me half of what I asked for. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize it until later because she never gave me a receipt. The second time, the exact same thing happened, but this time I asked for the receipt and saw that I was charged for everything—even though she only gave me part of my order. I called her out on it and she got upset, didn't even apologize.

I love this bakery, but I strongly recommend that customers double-check their orders and receipts before leaving. Mistakes happen, but twice with the same employee feels like more than an accident. Hopefully, management...

I love the smell when i walked into here, and the amount of options you have throughout the day for pastries, flan, doughnuts, brownies, macaroons, canolies, conchas, etc is remarkable. The only thing i would say kinda dampens the enjoyment is the ingredient abundance on some of there items. Such as the apple fritters. Personally i love a freshly made fritter, but when i eat one im expecting blends of cinnammon and mouth watering apple pieces decorating my tongue. Everytime ive tried there fritter theres about 1-7 pieces of apple, no cinnamon (or if there is, then its very little). The texture and glaze is remarkable but those 2 things again specifically about the fritter ruins the high for me. If you are also a advid flan guy/gyal it is good just the amount of condensed milk process you can taste...

Excellent bakery. Definitely a trademark of El Paso. It's small and tucked away in an residential area that most people don't venture into. They have a large selection of delicious baked goods; sweet breads, donuts, muffins, cakes and more. If you like tres Leches cakes, I highly recommend theirs. It's a good place to get baked goods for adults and kids. They usually have attentive, polite staff working there. And the bakery is kept clean. They accept cash, cards and EBT(food stamps). Note; parking space is very limited. But if you're looking for something sweet in El Paso, Texas. Then this is a great place go to.

This is where the locals go for their sweet tooth fix. But not only! I asked a local which place has the best tamales... He didn't think twice and recommended Bowie bakery! Now this is my first time eating tamales, so I can't compare, but the place had quite a few people! Their tres leches cake is one of the best I have had! The rice pudding is quite good as well! It is an El Paso staple, so definitely worth a visit! Great people, friendly, helpful and patient! Recommend!

We stop here every time we come down. My mom grew up en EI Chuco, so this is the spot we always recommend to anyone we know are coming down. I absolutely love their enpanadas de manzana, Pina, and the polvorones are a must. They sell tamales, but I was not a fan. Prices are great, and they are pretty busy, but service is fast. Love the fact that if you buy $15 dollars or more, they give you a bread bag for free, that's IF they have any. Let me know if you try it.
