The food was the best part which is obviously why you go to a restaurant. But some side things were definitely weak. This was my first time eating here. 1. When you walk in there is no sign or host stand or anyone that comes up to tell you whether they will seat you or you seat yourself or what. I had to ask someone, it is a seat yourself place. The guy behind our table was alao upset because he waited 10m for service and no one attended him. And there were like 10 service people working and not that many customers. 2. When we sat down it smelled bad like if the table had been wiped down with a dirty rag that has sat wet overnight for at least a week. Not appetizing. 3. The horchata definitely tastes like powder made and not fresh. But other than that all good! Delish food. Big plates. Very filling. We got the red chicken enchiladas & torta deshebrada. And They have menudo everyday not just weekends. Waiters were friendly and effective. Overall 7/10.

I would not recommend this place to eat. We went there for lunch today, where do I begin…..service was REALLY BAD. Waitress was in a bad mood, we were scolded for taking a seat, when they don’t have a sign that says “Wait to be seated” The waitress took forever to take our order, bring us our tea. They brought my coworker a lime in his tea glass that was already rotten. When he asked if he could get a new glass of tea with a different lime, we got attitude instead of an apology for the rotten lime. Our food wasn’t that great. We had to go to the register to get our check, while we were paying, it seemed like the manager of the restaurant and the cook were having some words, really loud for the customers to hear. All in all, a very bad experience. I would give this place 0 stars if I could. Never going back!!!

I will start with the bad as it was a big mistake, but the rest of the food was great. One of the dishes was lengua, which ended up still being cold (frozen). I think if it wasn't prepped it should have just been brought up that it wasn't ready, and just not offered (we would have changed the order. The other two dishes were chilaquiles which were delicious. It was savory with a hint of spice, but the crema tempered it down. 2nd dish was pozole which also had a nice bite (spice level) but was pleasantly delicious overall. The other dishes that we tried were your standard Mexican fare, but were prepared very well and were delicious as well.

My wife and I have 2 Sundays per month to spend together due to her work sched. So most of those 2 Sundays we like to order 1 posole &1 menudo for pick up. (She prefers posole) This location is very close to us but we have had to drive much further to the location on Redd Rd for a disgusting habit (i believe) this restaurant has that we have experienced a few times over the last 5 years. I know food, and my palate is trained as I do all the cooking at home. I never add lime juice to my menudo. It changes the flavor drastically and changes the red chile to a creamy orange color. Well, I believe that this restaurant pours unfinished bowls of menudo (left on the table by sit in customers) with lime juice added and then poured back into the menudo pot to resell.🤮 As I said, i can count on and trust my taste buds as I cook every day and know how to judge flavors. On a few times , the menudo from this location, tastes of lime juice and is creamy orange in color. Any one who adds lime juice to menudo knows this color change. So now we have to drive 20 miles to the Jarrones on Redd Rd to get good, clean , delicious Menudo and Posolle. This location (on Redd Rd) has always been so much better than the location on Paisano, better cooks for sure. And consistently the best menudo and posole in...

Los Jarrones proudly advertises delivery on all their menus. I take advantage of this often as I've been a loyal patron for sometime now. However, a recent Sunday morning proved different when they refused to deliver citing it was too busy. I asked the mgr Christina if she would take my order over the phone and I'd gladly pick it up. I was again declined. As strange as this behavior was, I decided to go in person and was curious to see only one couple dining. They were being catered to by what seemed like an overflux of employees. Then as I was eating, a bike parade was passing by on paisano st. when suddenly a biker storms in to tell me that someone is acting suspiciously around my car while all the same the person in front of me is boasting that his wife is a cop; I knew then I was being setup. Do not trust a business that delivers and that suddenly stops. They may be trying to deceive you and that is utterly cruel and...
