Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in El Paso

Sunday , April 13, 2025, my friend and I came here before having a long hour drive back to Alamagordo. We walked in and there were 5 people working. One was making online orders blatantly ignoring us, another chopping chicken just staring, another walking back and forth, and the other two just going in and out. We stood there for almost 10 minutes without any type of hey we will be with you in a moment or any recognition at all…There was only one man inside eating from a to go bag so I’m thinking maybe he is off and they are prepping? I worked in food/customer service for 3 1/2 years before becoming active duty so I okay , I can see if that’s the case.

I said excuse me TWICE with NO response, being ignored still , said it a third time “excuse me are you all closed or something?” After the THIRD time this woman says “No she’s just doing online orders” and proceeds to walk away…didn’t say just give us a moment or anything after just walks away!! What ?? Especially on a military installation, but in what world do you blatantly ignore customers without a greeting? We will be right with you, just one moment, etc which is understandable ? Absolutely DISGUSTING human behavior and customer service. Not to mention the man who was cutting chicken finished, went to the back, and got on his phone ?? The only reason we got service is because three people walked in after we were standing in awkward silence for almost 15 minutes at this point. I should have recorded it because it was so ridiculous I felt like we were in the twilight zone. Never in my life have I EVER experienced such rude behavior. You need an all new staff because I highly doubt any type of training will do any good for these idiots. Pro tip: If you don’t like your job then QUIT and get go somewhere else to spread your misery. Normally I have a great time with this chipotle. No problems. But the last two days, my order had not been ready at the time I set to pick it up. Normally, I wouldn't have minded, but these two weeks, I am on a crammed schedule. Yesterday, I had placed an order and did not get it until 15-20 minutes after pick up time, but it was busy. I still made it to where I needed to be, no problem, I understand. Today, I come in for my order. It's a ghost town, and my order was not ready at the specified time. The person making the pick up orders was not back there, I got someone's attention as I was waiting. I'd understand if it was busy, but it's before lunch rush, this place was pretty empty. Again, I was waiting 10-15 minutes after my designated pick up time. Don't get me wrong, the staff is great and service friendly, but the waiting after my pick up time is inconvenient especially with the time crunch. I still love this place but I'd hate to see it become unreliable with...

What was all of the hype about?! It was my very first visit to a chipotle. I was anxious and excited! Just based off the hype i would hear on TV about this place! Oh MY!!! This was the worst meal I never could eat! Yes, I threw it away! I have never heard of making a quesadilla and it came out soggy! How did that happen?! The work crew had an "I don't care" attitude, I had to bus my own table (but being a germaphobe) I didn't completely mind that part... but that was 3 strikes. Horrible food, poor attitude and unclean environment! It shocked me because I was VERY impressed by everything on Ft. Bliss until I went in here to eat. I'd be shocked to still find it open when we return. Where I'm never disappointed and now after this horrific experience... I'm glad we have Qdoba where we live. They get it right every time. And I absolutely love their plant based meat option. I'll never visit another Chipotle ever! I see I wasn't missing...
