Smashburger — Restaurant in Texas

Salt, salt, and more salt. That's all I could taste. I had the black bean burger and it was mushy and over salted. My husband had the beef patty on a avocado club house burger and it was overcooked and over salted. There was no attention to the placement of burger toppings. All the pickles in my burger were stacked together on one side. All the avocado slices on my husband's club were haphazardly jammed into one side. The smash fries were just alright. The server, Cathy, was the highlight of our visit. Very friendly and personable. She ask how our food was, I told her honestly that she was the best thing about our dining experience that day. She apologized and got the manager even though we didn't ask to speak to her. The manager gave us a coupon for use on our next visit and offered to have them remake our food. We hadn't eaten all day so we were already finished by this point so we declined the offer. I didn't catch the managers name but she was awesome as well. If you want to experience a SUPER DUPER BAD customer service, store staff rudeness and your orders all messed up go ahead and visit this location! We wanted to try something new since we are from the east coast but let me tell you it was a BIG MISTAKE!!! The lady at the cashier put our orders wrong, then they tried to fix it, then it was wrong again! Maria Canales asked us like 6 (no kidding) after they “ corrected” our order and the food still coming wrong not to mention that we were not the only ones having issues with the food and service, AND seems like MARIA were skipping us and made us wait more than 20 -30 minutes for our lunch after their mistake and saying that she needed to complete other orders from people that arrived after us. They are VERY UNORGANIZED and they give you attitude like it is your fault even when they are the issue but MARIA CANALES was the WORSE of all of them, if she doesn’t like that type of job she is doing she needs to leave the store. Ordered online. The Uber driver msg'd me that they were out of veggie patties. I told her my girl is a vegetarian and to cancel the order. I called the store and they refused to cancel the order even though they can't fulfill it. They said they can't cancel (which is incorrect since other places have cancelled Uber orders before and the Uber rep said they should have canceled since they can't complete the order.). I asked to speak to a manager and was told that I'll be on hold until she's available even though she was in the background telling her what to say.
