Service was terrible. The staff left the dishes on all the tables when other customers would leave and not clean them until another customer walks in. The staff has no sense of urgency.

Don’t sit near the door. When it opens you are getting what ever weather is outside (we went on a winter night with wind). But the place is tiny, so pick a nice day to go. Long story short, every time the door opened it would send a cold breeze in and we couldn’t get warm fast enough before it opened again. Gents, bring a spare jacket for the lady and leave it in your vehicle.

The price was not worth the quality of food. We started with the fried calamari and it was over cooked. My wife had the pasta with marinara, shrimp, calamari, and oysters. She loves Italian food and she refused to finish it. We had to ask for more sauce because it came dry and the waiter forgot to bring it so she waited longer. She only got three shrimp (average size) and the calamari was the same as what we got in the appetizer. I had the Chilean sea bass and the veggies were partially burned. It was hard to enjoy the dish without getting burnt food in random bites. The bass itself was the only good thing on my plate. My parents had the pizza and I ended up eating part of that to get something in my belly. I liked the pizza, but not enough to go back. Go to Ardovino’s instead, their flavor profiles are much better for the prices they charge.

It was a lot of money for the total experience that was just short of any expectations. Which leads me to believe some of the reviews are biased or by luck we just went on the worst night. I don’t recommend this place. They have a lot to work on to present a more professional establishment like the one I was lead to believe it was in...

Loved the intimate, cozy "date night" kind of ambience and decor of this place. Our server was still in training but was prompt, courteous, and kept our party of four well attended despite it being a busy Friday night. I realize the menu is trying to convey an eclectic, international range--but there's no real consistency in theme. Is it an Italian pizzeria but with Greek and Turkish food on the side? A Spanish Tapas place? A Mexican taco truck? A Middle Eastern eatery? Or is it a classic American steakhouse? It's really all over the place. It would be best to pick a lane (or three) to keep the eclectic theme without coming across as chaotic. The menu's lack of focus translates to the plates, which serve tiny appetizers and microscopic entrée portions but gigantic desserts, and none of it is memorable because corners need to be cut to sustain a menu with too broad a range of cooking techniques and ingredients. In odd contrast with an almost overwhelming variety in the food menu, the wine list is extremely limited--although I believe the restaurant allows patrons to bring their own wine bottle, so there's that (a corking fee applies). I desperately want to love this restaurant for the neighborhood jewel it could be. Please make some adjustments to refocus on the quality of ingredients and portion balance --the potential is still there for this cozy little restaurant to...

Food was terrible. But even worse was the way Humo staff handled our reservation. We made a reservation for 8 at 7pm. As we pulled into the parking lot at 6:55pm, we received a call telling us that there was a problem with our reservation. We were told that the day before, a party of 12 had cancelled their reservation, which allowed them to give us our reservation. Then this morning, after we had a reservation, the party of 12 called and said they would be coming in afterall. Therefore, they would need move our reservation to 9pm. They told us this with 5 minutes to go before all our party members arrived. We went in and explained that they better honor our reservation since we drove in from New Mexico. They scrambled and rearranged some tables to uncomfortably squeeze our party into a tight center section of the restaurant. From there, we experienced mediocre service. When the food arrived, it was of poor quality. We should have just left when they tried to bump our reservation. If we had left, I would not be sitting at home with horrible stomach pains. Do yourself a favor and avoid this restaurant. This is nothing but an overpriced wanna-be restaurant. AVOID,...

Arrived to a quiet and very dim atmosphere with calm music. Very nice set up. Ordered a Caprese salad with chicken which came out out after our pizza. The Caprese salad was delicious perfect balance between the greens, mozzarella, tomato, and EVOO with pepper. Would give this place a second chance just based on this item. I ordered two pizzas. Pepperoni and a Chile Verde Pizza. Nothing special about the sauce or the cheese on the pepperoni pizza but the crust was very good and crispy. I would give the pepperoni pizza a 5.5/10. With the chile verde pizza, it is decieving since there was very little green chile. It is more of a squash and corn pizza. Two types of cheese , green chile, squash and corn. Very dry missing a suace in the pizza. Once I asked staff if they had a sauce they offered to make a small portion of alfredo sauce. They made a perfect alfredo sauce that if it would of been on the pizza would of made this pizza a 9.2/10. Adding more green chile a 10/10. The reason my service review is low is not due to my waiter, I was charged for the alfredo sauce that made their pizza work. Our waiter was great! I will give them a second chance in the future because of the salad!

After trying the hummus, I wondered why this restaurant received some hate from reviews. It seems that it's related to wait time, price, and service. This place is delicious. It may be the best restaurant I have visited up to now in El Paso as food goes. The hummus has to be the best one I have ever tried. It's better than any Mediterranean place I have visited. That pita bread in wood fire was worth the visit. The Mediterranean salad was a salad but it was tasty. The pear and brie pizza was also awesome. I like my pizza ingredients to be meaty but zero complaints here. For all of the items we tried, the ingredients all go very well together. I will say you probably have to project getting hungry here and not go hungry already because it will probably bitter up your palate. We were probably here an hour and 45 and most of it was waiting for food. I am not complaining though. That slow cook in a wood fire oven was worth the wait. Service was good and prices were fair for the quality food you get.

Our waiter was nice!! He ensured we had everything, my biggest gripe is how slow it is here. We waited at least 30 min for the 1st appetizer and the second came about 15 after that. Another hr to get the first plate of food. Very slow like many others have said. Food was okay shrinp pizza and pepperoni lacked flavor they were also quite thin and not enough sauce, the scallop dip appetizer was good cajun pasta with shrimp and honey was also. My buddy ordered the steak which was eh.The salad pictured was descent definitely needed the dressing. For desert we ordered the peach cobbler and my wife got a free brownie for her birthday, the cobbler was 1 out of 10, I’m Georgia and this is far from the real deal mostly. The brownie was definitely dark chocolate based and had a sharp flavor. I don’t think we will return just off the slow service alone being there 3 hrs was beyond ridiculous. And definitely not worth $200 in my opinion.
