Carla the supervisor was rude, cold hearted, snarky, condescending, ugly and deserves to be fired in the spot for the way she treats people and this is the second run in I have had with her. Way too young and immature to be supervisor. Stay away from that store!!!! Look at her complaining to her employee about me seeking customer assistance and not being happy with her treatment. Ruby was not wearing a name tag and tried to be rude to me at the register after Carla talked about me but when I called her out for not wearing her name tag then she turned her attitude around but little to late! I had a shopping cart full of fragile merchandise and not until I paid almost $200 did they say no shopping carts outside and I was forced to leave half my stuff in the cart and when I came back my dishes and elephant piggy bank were broken and not only did they not want to replace the items but they also made me wait in that huge line once again for twenty minutes just to tell me itâs not there fault. Supposedly there is posted signs everywhere that no shopping carts allowed outside but there is only one and that is face the exit door, nothing posted walking in nor around the store and nothing at the registers. My wife and I had items to return and the supervisor on duty stated that we could not return our items because she didnât have access to the cameras, that only the store manager does but she is off on the weekends. So for us to return on Monday. Please note we bought the items only 2 days prior, we had the original receipt as well as the tags. We also think that it was truly disappointing as well as an embarrassment that we cannot return items until they see the cameras. I truly believe that every single customer could and will make a difference good or bad if things donât change. If those are really your store standards then please give camera access to all managers on duty. With all due respect, you lost our business on ever returning to any Burlington locations...
   Read moreLooking at the other reviews, everyone else's experience seems pretty consistent with my own latest visit. Long lines, it took about 50 minutes to pay on a Wednesday at about 3pm, no less, and extremely rude managers (Bobbi, in my case) that make up their own arbitrary on the spot rules, separate from company 30 day policy, when it comes to returns with a receipt.
Avoid this place. The rudeness from the employees comes from the top down with the management to blame. It's clear corporate Burlington has no interest in fixing these issues that have existed for months and seem to be pretty common with a variety of patrons. Reply to the reviews all you want, Burlington, but please actually do something with these widespread issues of your rude managers and understaffed stores! Actions speak louder than empty words and shallow damage...
