KRAB KINGZ DAIQ SHACK — Restaurant in El Paso

I (was) looking forward to this meal! Numbers of individual items listed was accurate. The problem was specifically asking for not spicy, told the original was garlic and Old Bay, more like several boxes of seasoning and a little garlic. I also asked for additional sauce on the side to explore, for a $1.19 per 2oz plastic cup only half filled was not overly surprised that we could not tell the difference between the honey garlic and the lemon pepper. The seafood its self seemed to have decent flavor, so why bury it under so much spice that you can not taste anything else, the #1 is generously portioned, but when everything tastes the same, shrimp to sausage, egg to potatoes no point in spending that kind of money when red lobster has better sad to say but honest flavors. Finally added two crab cakes, more filler than should be in a $3.+ Per cake is worth. Service to car was quick and friendly, like the ethos of the company in general. Update 8/24/2022: I’ve ordered from here multiple times since my initial review in 2020 and today was the absolute last time. Quality and service has went completely down the drain. My potatoes in my order were large, unevenly cut and RAW. The corn also tasted chewy and odd like it was old and had been reheated. Crab cakes used imitation crab which was not specified and excuse me for assuming a place called Krab king would use real crab meat. The only positive part was of my order was the fried food platter and that also was the cheapest part of my meal.

Original: Ordered for the first time through Door dash and omg it was sooo good like finger licking, sauce everywhere good. It was packaged very well and there were no leaks. I ordered extra sauce thinking they’d be stingy with it like most places but nope there’s a huge puddle of sauce at the bottom perfect for sopping everything in. I ordered the platter for 2 with the original sauce and was pleased with the amount of food for the price. BEST SEAFOOD BOIL IN TEXAS. This Boil spot can’t get more authentic! Not only is the food good but the customer experience is phenomenal. I was really craving a seafood boil and when I got to Krab Kingz they where unfortunately closed but the worker was able to go above and beyond and made a boil for me and my wife to go. This is something they didn’t have to do but they still went ahead and made sure they took care of their customer. This level of customer service, unfortunately is not seen in many other restaurants.

THE FOOD: It’s simply the best. I love crab and they are able to cook it perfectly and the seasoning is perfect. I got the extra spicy which had a nice kick while still having flavor. The shrimp is cleaned for you, which a lot of places don’t do. The sausage tastes so good that it could be served by itself. A lot of places the fixings are just added for the sake of adding them but here everything in the books tastes like it was made with passion.
