This Korean supermarket is the only authentic Korean market you can find in El Paso, and it’s truly a gem for anyone looking for genuine Korean products. While E-Mart, located just a few blocks away and run by Vietnamese owners, offers some options, it falls short in terms of variety and authenticity. This supermarket, on the other hand, provides an extensive selection of Korean groceries and essentials, making it a standout choice for anyone craving a taste of Korea.
I’m especially thrilled that this market exists here in El Paso, as it offers not only a wide variety of products but also ample parking, making shopping convenient and hassle-free. The selection of meats is particularly impressive, especially for dishes like shabu-shabu, where quality is key. Additionally, the fresh vegetables are consistently top-notch, and the store carries a great range of products imported directly from Korea, ensuring authenticity and freshness.
The market is impeccably organized, making it easy to find what you need, and the prices are fair, offering excellent value for money. Whether you’re looking for everyday ingredients, specialty items, or fresh produce, this supermarket has it all. It’s a must-visit for anyone who loves Korean food or culture, and I highly recommend it to both locals...

Read morePlease pay attention to how Arirang is pricing its goods in the store! Arirang priced a pack of star anise at $14.99 that supposedly weighed 454 grams, according to the store label. However, on the packaging, it's only 100 grams per bag. I went to a cashier asking for the price after explaining the weight discrepancy on the item. The cashier replied that $14.99 was the correct price. Knowing that the price was wrong from past purchasing experience, I asked for the store manager for clarification. The manager did come forth with that $14.99 label in her hand. After a brief moment on verification of the item price, she admitted that the 100 grams of star anise should be $6+ and that $14.99 was incorrect. The issue didn't end there. The manager put that $14.99 label back up to where it was before. When I asked her if she should correct that mistake, the manager arrogantly refused. I told her that she was wrong by putting that $14.99 label up there for a $6+ item just to mislead store customers. She didn't care, continued inserting that $14.99 label for 454 grams under the...
