Let me just say this: if you’re not at Pockets Pool Hall, WYD with your life?! We came in for a casual hangout and ended up staying for hours because everything about this place is straight-up PERFECTION. The music, the energy, the food, the drinks, the pool tables, the people — chef’s kiss, 10/10, no notes.

And then there’s BERENICE. Whewwwwww — Berenice is the Beyoncé of servers, the Serena Williams of service, the GOAT. This woman didn’t just take care of us — she spoiled us. Like, roll-out-the-red-carpet level service. Every drink was made with love, the food came out hot and fresh, and her attention to detail was next-level. She’s sweet, fast, funny, and read us like a mind-reader. Her vibe is so good, we almost forgot we were paying for drinks — it felt like we were being hosted by our bestie who just happens to run the be apart of the best fun in town!

From the drinks, to the boneless wings and the POOL TABLE... We will be dreaming about the fun for days — and every single bite and sip was fire. There wasn’t one dud the entire night. ZERO misses. Just straight-up hits.

Pockets Pool Hall is officially our new favorite spot. We're new the the area and absolutely a PICKY because we've been to a LOT of places all over the globe! So, I've been only a handful of times. But, yesterday was odd they had this server painting and also serving customers at the same time. This server is making at most $2 and they have her slaving away for $2 an hr. How hard is it hire a painter honestly? Are they hurting for money that bad to pinch pennies like that? last weekend there was one female server running around and 3 other servers just sitting at a table chilling I know two of them cause I've had em before felicia and pedro. I knew they weren't on break because they had just gotten there, they just flat out refused to help the female server it was her and a bunch of tables. Then, the manager Alfred likes to steal tables and not remember he has tables when there are plenty of servers. Mind you i didn't know he was the manager before our encounter. Last Weekend I had come in and he seats me and he gets me started and forgets about me. So, I'm sitting there waiting on him i had finished my beer an other servers are asking me if I'm being helped and such. I finally complained and asked about my server another server told me it was a manager and it's not the first time he's done this. It ridiculous he gets busy doing manager things what he should be doing and forgets about you. It's one or the other man. I doubt he even gets tips and if he does I'm pretty sure he keeps them which is unethical because as manager he gets paid more than enough. After last weekend and yesterday I'm done...

Never been to this pockets and now I know why. The bouncer practically wanted to search me. Giving me the third degree. He then went ahead and said it was his job to keep the public safe. Which is cool and all do your job but don't also try and intimidate a 5 foot nothing girl who's not bringing any type of safety hazard to the bar. I walked in to a friend waiting for me and the bouncer stared at me for about 5 min. Not sure what he was trying to accomplish but it was extremely unprofessional. Aside from that. The manager was sitting at the bar not sure if she was drinking but she was not afraid to look as if she was enjoying the bar instead of at work. The bartender was very nice and friendly but she asked me what a Jim beam red stag was and what was in the shot....right. Over all terrible experience won't be coming back.will still continue to hold the same opinion about the venue they really need some coaching on customer service. Wow. Continues to be a...
