My family and I have been regular visitors every weekend. This location is incredibly convenient for us, being the closest to our home. The service quality, however, can vary greatly depending on the employee assisting you; some are incredibly sweet, while others are rather rude. Today, we ordered the mangoneada, a treat we consistently order because it's one of our favorites. Unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. The portion seemed lacking, with only about one scoop of mango ice cream (which was unusually runny), and the rest consisted of mango chunks. This was a significant decrease from our previous experiences and left us with an unappetizing impression. I wish I had a picture of the previous ones we've gotten so that you could see the difference in quality. Again I believe this is based on who assists you, I just wish they were more consistent.

Please make yourself a favor, save your money and don’t come here. We ordered a “large” elote (corn on a cup) and we were shocked to see the size of the large cup. I wouldn’t even call it a large cup. I’d call it a Small cup. What’s even more infuriating is that the elote was cold and expensive at $3.75 We also ordered Dorinachos ($3.25) because their picture on the menu showed it with “cueritos” (pork skins). To my surprise, that was an “extra topping”. The extra topping cost me .50 cents but the guy barely put any in it. I suggest going down Zaragoza and finding food trucks. They have better quality for a better price. The Michoacana is not was it used to be.

This place plays corridos/videos tumbados that include adult lyrics, profanity, doing drugs, and videos where people make out, while kids and family are trying to enjoy some nieve and paletas. I did ask them to please remove the videos because kids were present. The young male did remove it but he simply played even worse songs with adult lyrics which stated "parental advisory". We had to leave. This is a family place, not a place where you play your personal music style glorifying drugs and profanity. You lost me as a customer.

La michoana was one of my favorite places for mangoneadas but lately the service has been terrible. I ordered a mangoneada (drive-thru) and asked if it was possible to change the mango for guayaba an the lady said yes, she then told the lady working with her (who was sitting on the floor) for the guayaba “mangoneada” she made a face like she was disgusted with my order which after tasting it i understand why. Thry gave me my “mangoneada” and man the guayaba ice cream did not taste like guayaba, it almost tasted like the smell of paint thinner. Im not sure if its the machines that they’re using but it did no taste good. Service needs improvement like I mentioned customers don’t like feeling like they’re bothering you or like their order is disgusting, can also be more welcoming they don’t say “thank you” back or “have a nice day” but it can also be because they’re young or lack simple manners. I don’t think i will be coming back to this location, please...

IAfter reading decent reviews, I see many people have extremely low expectations. For one, some Anglo looking girl at the window has poor customer service skills. She seems bothered and in a rush to respond vaguely to any questions. Secondly, she has no common sense. I was by myself and taking 5 items in cups plus a bag of ice pops. She hands me item by item until I asked if they had carriers. She continues to give me the rest of the individual cups and then the cup holder. Big DUH! Aside from this, the minute small, cheap, ice cream cups don't hold in the cup holder. Talk about cheaping out on the supplies! I hate to say it, but this Mexican ice cream parlor is what you'd call "Naco." Come on! If you're going to represent, do it with quality products and by hiring the type of welcoming and courteous people we...
