Guys!!!!! Whoa....I just walked into this mom and pops called Mission Cafe on Wedgewood and I'm glad I did! Must've been a busy morning because right from the get go it smelled like my gmas kitchen on a Saturday or Sunday morning. Mmmmmm...memories. Anyways, place is small but service is great! Had a large bowl of caldo de res and a asada burrito. 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤..dayyuummmm.... ON POINT!!! Soup was perfect and flavorful, well served with good chunks of meat. The burrito was also great, loaded with meat, beans, cheese, aguacate, salsa and lettuce. Really really good!! I would have to pics but I ate it all lol!!!
People always asking for mom and pops spots, this is one that you most definitely wanna visit! If your lucky you'll catch the cook serenading you while he cooks and you wait.

Read moreThis restaurant is a less than 10 minute drive away from the El Paso Airport. My husband and I have come here twice and we really enjoy the food and service. The portion sizes are generous and the prices are quite cheap for what's being served. This place is cash only, so make sure to bring cash. Otherwise there is an ATM in the restaurant where you can withdraw some money.
We have come here for lunch and if we're not feeling too hungry, sharing a 2-3 item plate with rice and beans is plenty filling. The tacos have a fried hard shell which are super delicious and the chicken quesadilla was perfect. Highly recommend if you're looking for something affordable...
Read moreI took my family to eat breakfast. We ordered menudo, eggs with bacon, beans and steak fajitas. Worse choice ever. Menu was very greasy no flavor and the bread served was very hard. The bacon was over cooked very hard. And my son couldn't eat his plate the food was over cooked and he didn't get to eat his food. Overall, the service was bad, Manager didn't cared and gave attitude. Never again, will I ever take my family to this restaurant and I surely do not recommend anyone to eat here. Worse...
