Where do I start? 4tacos 4tacos 4tacos has some of the best birria tacos in El Paso! Period! The birria is always cooked to perfection for around 16 hours! The birria de res (beef) is tender and offers a ton of delicious flavor with every bite! The tacos also taste great with the pile of Muenster cheese that's fried inside of the tortillas. Although the tacos don't need salsa, I like to add a little bit to the tacos each time. It adds a nice kick to the flavors. Lime also adds a nice kick to the mix. The dipping sauce or consume is also amazing with or without a birria taco! Don't forget the birria ramen or nachos! They're both spicy and delicious!
If beef birria isn't your thing, there's mashed potato with ground beef, Korean and discada tacos, along with quesadillas! My favorite out of all of the tacos is the birria. However, the other options are amazing and full of flavor as well. All of the food is made to perfection and with lots of love.
Ruben and Irene always go above and beyond every single time with food and customer service. The staff genuinely cares for every customer and you feel it. They're always friendly and helpful towards everyone. If something doesn't go as planned, immediately let them know and they'll make it right. They want everyone who stops by to have a great experience. I highly recommend 4tacos! I have yet to be disappointed. It's been an A+ experience every time. They're also wonderful for catering special events and holidays. Treat your loved ones to perfection if you...
Read moreI just left this place 5 minutes ago and I cannot say enough good things about it. I'm in El Paso for just a few nights and I'm looking for a great place to eat: Google says try it, so I do. Google was damned right.
Four tacos is really little more than a kiosk set outside with some tables and chairs nearby, but the food was truly fantastic and the experience was a.lot of fun. I had the Korean street tacos and it was honestly one of the best meals I've ever had: deeply flavorful, a little sweet, very savory. It's surprising that this isn't how Korean beef is normally served, because it was perfect. Ruben, the owner, and I spoke a bit about his preparation. This man really cares about this food: this isn't his side hustle; he's a chef who's chosen to work in tacos. The owners even made me a birria taco because I've never had one. It was a dipping taco with a great custom, savory, and slightly spicy sauce, and really well seasoned and tasty shredded beef.
I'm generally an introverted person, but Ruben and his wife (I never got her name) are so nice, engaging, and fun, and even the customers were great and we got to know each other a bit. I met a couple of podcaster food guys who traveled from San Antonio to try these tacos. They seemed to agree: worth it.
Bottom line: If you are in El Paso and you haven't eaten at 4tacos, you've made a mistake. Fix it. Go...
Read moreYou’ve tried the rest now try the best. This hidden gem on Montana and Mac Crae is by far the best birria style menu I have had. What sets this place apart is the delicious food and flavor. Your food is carefully prepared by these folks in their cozy food truck. The owner has told me it takes them 24 hours to prepare and cook the delicious beef. The birria has a hearty prepared from home taste. Very tasty and NEVER greasy! I recommend all of their menu items. My favorite is the Spicy Ramen with birria. Their tacos speak for themselves. The sides are fresh and diced to perfection. Don’t forget the side of Mexican Coca Cola! It’s worth my 20 minute drive from the Northeast. Give them a call or swing by. They take cash and...
