Highly recommend to put your name on the waitlist prior to arriving! I made the mistake of not checking before leaving the house and arrived to a TWO HOUR wait. Granted, it was Valentine’s Day which is most likely why they were packed, but still. I should have thought to check and save ourselves the hassle of having to wait in the car the entirety of that time. Also note that they don’t allow you to wait inside because there is no seating, so you have no choice but to stand outside or wait in your car. Once we got through the long wait, everything else was pretty much smooth sailing. The girl at the host stand had a hard time finding our name at first but once she did we got our booth. Our server for the night was great! Forgot his name but he was very attentive and quick to grab whatever we needed. My husband ordered a Dos Equis beer and I got their strawberry margarita. Very fruity and not strong at all! I will throw in that their glasses appear to be large but I noticed it’s mostly filled with ice so you’re not exactly getting as much as you think. But, it is tasty! As for food, we ordered their rattlesnake bites in hopes that they wouldn’t come out salty like we experience at the location on Fort bliss base. Unfortunately they still tasted salty, just not as bad. It may just be the batter they use or the cheese is overly salty but I probably will stay away from the rattlesnake bites from now on. For my entree I got their pulled pork sandwich with Mac anc cheese. I’ve had the pulled pork before at their SoCal location so I knew it was good. As for the mac and cheese, I will say the cheese had a weird consistency, kind of lumpy. It also tasted a bit cold - like it had been reheated. My husband got their steak and shrimp combo. Everything tasted great! No complaints there. Honestly I’d just come here for their fresh bread rolls. It’s the main reason I love Texas Roadhouse! They’re so warm and fresh, the cinnamon butter goes perfect with them as well. Overall I’m giving 4 stars despite the long wait, alcohol drinks that are mostly ice, cold Mac and cheese and the salty rattlesnake bites because I really do love the bread rolls and the pulled pork sandwich is delicious! Our server was great too so that’s worth mentioning. Next time I know to put my name on the waitlist before arriving and I know what NOT to order.

I ordered a to go on the phone which was only a side salad and a bowl of chili which would only take 15 mins. I get there past the 15 mins and the guy that was there was acting hysterically and went inside the kitchen he later came out and got my payment then went back into the kitchen acting hysterically I waited another 15 mins to get my food. Until he later comes out with my food. I looked inside the bag to only see 2 small containers of chili filled less than half way which is ridiculous I payed for a bowl. So I go back to the to go window and knocked and the guy that gave me my food was standing there doing nothing and he seemed to not want to acknowledge me. There was also a tall man at the register wearing a blue shirt which looked like the manager and he did not bother to an acknowledge me either. The guy then decided to come to the window and I explained to him and he stated he would bring another chili container filled up. He went into the kitchen acting hysterically again and laughing then takes a while he later comes out with a container in his hand that looked like my chili and threw it against the counter. He then starts talking to another female staff that had been standing there at the counter and they both start laughing and bend Down on the counter facing there backs towards me and start looking at there phones talking and laughing. It’s already 10:20 pm i arrived arrived to pick up my food at 9:50 pm. So I’m standing there and the guy does not acknowledge me at all completely ignores me. The other female staff then leaves looking at me with guilt on her face .the hysterical guy then sits on the floor and starts hiding below the register counter and stayed there and never got up he looked like he was on drugs looking paranoid staring at the kitchen door constantly while doing something ,while I’m still standing there waiting for the damn chili bowl that he said he was going to bring. I can’t believe this place would hire lazy bad attitude people like him. Apart from waiting 30 mins to get a side salad and a bowl of chili my other takeout food that I had in the car got cold. Worst customer service ever. V. Micha was the name shown on the receipt hopefully the picture is a lil clear on who that staff was.

I got to the restaurant at 9:20PM and it was packed. I put my name in and they told me it would be 20 minutes. The auto text said it would be 10. It was 40. Inaccurate times are a pet peeve of mine. At Texas Roadhouse, when the host/hostess escorts you to your table, they grab a basket of fresh rolls and give them to you when you get to the table. Host who seated me did not grab a basket of rolls. He escorted me to my table, and I waited, and waited, and waited, you get the drill. Server finally comes and starts trying to upsell me booze. I let her know I was driving and I was ready to order. I ordered a main, 2 sides, and I showed her my code for the free app. She took my order, left, and my first side, the salad, was immediately delivered. I was starving and couldn't wait to dive in, but I could not as my rolls were not the only thing they forgot to give me; they also forgot flatware. Don't worry, they brought me flatware 5 minutes later (no exaggeration), after they brought my tea. Once I got the flatware, the salad was delicious. Texas Roadhouse ingredients are so fresh. I like the salad at Olive Garden, but this is so much better (and the cold bowl really makes a difference). At this point I asked for the rolls. Next up was the app, "Rattlesnake Bites" (Jalapeño poppers). This is my favorite thing on their menu. Poppers were so good. Crispy on outside packed with the "sweet hot" cheesy filling inside. Main was next. I ordered 16OZ Sirloin, med rare, and it came with my second side (was supposed to be a bowl of chili, but they gave me a cup). They totally missed on the cook. There was a small amount of pink at the center of the steak, the rest was brown and it was cooked to med well. Chili was well spiced but tough to eat with a fork. Bill came to $35.69 but they forgot to take off the appetizer, I had to have them do it. So overall, sides were awesome, app was great, but service was not good and the steak was an epic fail. Best I can do is 2 stars. The steak is supposed to be the star of the meal, but on this night, not so much

FIRST TIME TO EAT AT ANY TEXAS ROADHOUSE! IT WILL BE THE LAST IF THE SERVICE AND FOOD IS ANY INDICATION AS TO HOW THIS IS THE NORM FOR THIS COMPANY! WE WERE SEATED AND SERVED SOME ROLLS BUT W/O ANY UTENSILS. THAT IN ITSELF SHOULD HAVE BEEN A WARNING SIGN AS THERE WAS NO WAY TO CUT OPEN THE ROLLS AND ADD THE SPREAD THAT CAME W/ THE ROLLS. WHEN OUR SERVER, NAOMI CAME TO INTRODUCE HERSELF, SOME 10 MINS LATER, WE ASKED FOR SOME UTENSILS AT THAT TIME AND TOLD HER WE WOULD WAIT TO ORDER OUR DRINKS WHEN OUR OTHER GUEST ARRIVED. SHE NEVER SAID A WORD OR EVEN GAVE A SMILE AS SHE WALKED AWAY. THAT WAS WHAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN OUR SECOND WARNING SIGN; NO SMILE. WE SAT THERE FOR ANOTHER 5-10 MINUTES AND WE FINALLY WERE BROUGHT OUR UTENSILS AND NAPKINS, WHICH BY THAT TIME THE ROLLS WERE COLD. THIS WAS @ 17:20 AND THIS PLACE WAS ABOUT HALF FULL. WHEN OUR OTHER GUEST ARRIVED AND JOINED US, I NOTICED THAT OUR SERVER REALIZED OUR GUEST HAD SHOWN UP TO JOIN US BUT, WE WAITED ANOTHER 10 MINUTES FOR NAOMI TO COME AND ASK US ABOUT OUR DRINKS. THIS WAS FRUSTRATING BECAUSE NAOMI WAS JUST STANDING W/ OTHER SERVERS JUST TALKING WHILE WE HAD TO SIT AND WAIT UNTIL SHE WAS DONE W/ HER CONVERSATION! WHERE I WAS SEATED, I WAS ABLE TO SEE THE FRONT DESK, KITCHEN AND MOST OF THE ENTIRE SERVICE AND EATING AREA. AS A NAVY SPECIAL TEAM MEMBER WE WERE TRAINED TO BE AWARE OF EVERY LITTLE DETAIL SURRONDING US. OUR HEADS ARE ON A SWIVEL AT ALL TIMES AS WE ARE TRAINED TO NOTICE EVERYTHING. IT IS A HABIT THAT YOU CAN NEVER SHAKE! WE FINALLY WERE ABLE TO ORDER OUR TEAS AND WINE WHICH WERE SERVED IN A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME. WE ORDERED 2 FILET MEDALLION SALADS AND A PULLED PORK SANDWICH. WHEN WE RECIEVED OUR ORDER IT WAS NOT WHAT WAS EXPECTED AT ALL! THE PORK WAS VERY DRY AND SOME OF IT WAS EVEN TOO HARD TO CHEW AND THE FRIES WERE ROOM TEMP! I ASKED FOR SOME MUSTARD, WHICH I NEVER RECIEVED AND THE TWO FILET MEDALLION SALADS WERE NOT MUCH BETTER. THE FILET MEDALLIONS WERE ROOM TEMP AS WELL, AND THE SERVICE WAS ONLY GETTING WORSE BECAUSE WE WERE NEVER ASKED ABOUT REFILLS FOR OUR TEAS! I CANNOT, IN GOOD FAITH, RECOMMEND THIS PLACE IF YOU ARE WANTING GOOD SERVICE W/ A SMILE AND IN A TIMELY MANNER! NOR CAN I RECOMMEND THE PULLED PORK BECAUSE OF HOW DRY AND HARD IT WAS OR THE FILET MEDALLION SALADS IF YOU WANT THE MEAT TO BE KIND OF...

UPDATE SINCE LAST MONTH This place hasn’t changed. I went in around 3:49 pm and sat at the bar. I order my usual food order (12oz Ft Ribeye steak/medium, seasoned rice and steak fries). After a reasonable wait, my food comes out (minus my seasoned rice). I inquire about it and they said it should be out shortly. So I let my steak sit, as I like to enjoy my steak with my seasoned rice. After about 12 minutes, the bar server as how is everything. I said I don’t know, I don’t have my seasoned rice. He goes to check on it and comes back and says they’re out of seasoned rice. At this point I know it’s bull but I substitute it for the green beans. About 10 minutes later, the couple to my left receives some seasoned rice. Then about 7 minutes after that, the couple to my right also receives seasoned rice. I ask to speak to the manager and inform her of this B.S. She does the manager thing of trying to sound sincerely sorry ( which she’s not). They don’t offer to compensate me in any form of fashion. This place on Joe Battle has garbage service. I will travel to the other Texas Roadhouses (even though they are farther away) just for the service I deserve & pay for! I’ve read another reviewer/ commenter say that this place could learn from the one on Ft. Bliss and they are 100% correct! Folks, be warned, don’t expect quality service from this place. If you don’t believe me, just read the reviews below. I’m not making this stuff up.

It’s Saturday (11:30 am) and there is college football on but they insist on seating me away from a TV. They finally relented. I was seated in the bar area. The bartender was pretty quick to ask if we were ready to order. I order my usually 12oz Ft Worth ribeye with seasoned rice and steak fries. They were out of rice is what the bartender told me. HTF are you out of rice on a Saturday morning before the rush comes in? And why does it takes twenty minutes for my wife to get her salad (only because she had to ask for it)? These people look like they don’t wish to be here but yet expect a tip. I tip according to my service and right now, it’s not looking like they deserve one. There are only only about 20-25 customers in here. We finally got our steaks and had to send them back. Over cooked. This place needs some serious attention. Highly...
