We grab food here at least twice to 3 times a month. For the entire family. Always spend 70-100. We go in person or pickup thru DoorDash. (Not delivery, we pick up ourselves) The people at register are always unpleasant, like they hate their life. But whatever, I guess. Anyway, a couple of times when placing our order on DoorDash, we asked & paid for extra sauce and I’m not sure if they were running out and couldn’t make more or I DONT KNOW, but they really put 1/3 of the sauce in the little container. I don’t understand why it’s a bother when you ASK AND PAY for extra sauce. Now my problem today, we order 4 bowls per usual, they didn’t include the Pita bread. I’ve never had a bowl that didn’t have pita bread with it. The guy who answered was really rude when I called and said we stopped including it with our bowls. So gyros with no pita bread? I asked since when , because we come here often. He said “since a week ago idk mam” bothered because you have to answer my question. I then told him it would be nice to let customers know that which then would be easier on yall when people call upset about it. I don’t see a change in price either so?? I just think it’s wild that I’m paying the same I been paying since I been going an always an issue with your staff. If I spending this much on feeding my family I expect it to be a...
Read moreWhen I'm craving Mediterranean food, Urban Gyros in East El Paso is my go-to place. On my recent visit, I picked up the beef gyro, complemented by the signature poblano ranch (white sauce) and a mild spicy green sauce, along with a side of waffle fries.
The beef gyro is a standout, featuring perfectly seasoned, tender gyro meat nestled in a warm pita. It’s topped with fresh lettuce, onions, cucumbers, and tomatoes, which add a crisp, refreshing crunch. The combination of the creamy poblano ranch and the mild spicy green sauce brings a delightful balance of flavors.
The waffle fries deserve a special mention too. Crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside, they were the perfect side to my gyro. Even as a takeout order, they retained their crunch and were seasoned just right.
Urban Gyros offers great value. The portions are generous, and the quality of the food is top-notch, making it worth every penny.
Overall, Urban Gyros in East El Paso delivers an outstanding experience, whether you're dining in or taking out. The delicious food and vibrant atmosphere make it a must-visit for anyone craving flavorful Mediterranean-inspired dishes with a Southwest twist. I can't...
Read moreThey charge 15 dollars per meal and add very little meat , this has been the 3rd time we experience this from ordering food delivered , when in person they give more meat but when order to go or delivered they hardly add any meat very disappointed
Update : owner and GM were really nice and replaced my meals however, we watched as they made the meals and the manager and worker were on their phone texting while making the food handling money and credit cards not washing their hands then proceeding to make the food with their bare hands very distributing, I kindly confronted the manager after( short Hispanic guy with a beared) about this for food saftey reasons, I recommend that they stay off their phones and use gloves as a kind suggestion. he said "we are already making your food what else do you want" and "in the state of Texas we aren't required to use gloves" very snotty and with attitude. Very unpleasant made my mom cry with how he treated me thankfully I'm a man of peace and left the restaurant without escalating the situation. Very disturbing and unpleasant and unsanitary conditions. Makes me and my...
