I came in to grab lunch (to-go) . Once I recieved my order , my son asked of I can eat inside , so I said yes thats fine. As I'm eating a waitress comes over first asks if im going to eat here (which I obviously was eating) next she proceeds to ask if I tipped the cashier . I said I didn't tip her . She was very persistent about it stating that if I tipped the cashier that she needed to know so she could claim the tip . She seemed very bothered by the fact that I changed my mind and decided to sit inside the restaurant and eat there . She was very desperate for a tip, i told her I would tip her once I'm done eating. Then a male comes over to ask if i want a drink almost insisting that I get a water which I declined. Overall the seemed very bothered that I had the audacity to sit inside this restaurant and eat the $14 meal I just paid for . I went to get change for a $20 as I was leaving because this woman seemed very desperate for a tip .when I tipped her she just grabbed it in a desperate manner. I felt weird and disrespected. I will never return here I would never recommend this place . The food is mid. The place smells like fabuloso cleaner . This place was nearly empty and yet somehow they weren't welcoming to a...
Read moreI have been a customer since their days in Juarez only roughly 30 years. However, the quality of the flautas have gone south mainly for little items that are being overlooked but need to get addressed. If you compare them to the Juarez products this is what you will find: they don't skimp out on the Mexican sour cream like they do here; the onions are very thinly sliced the ones in El Paso are so thick that when you bite into them you are overwhelmed by onion versus the taste of the flauta itself; the Jamaica & lemonade drinks are not natural but powdered; some servers are friendly but several are not & not to mention you have to stand in long lines to order - in Juarez they still take your order at the table like a real restaurant not like a fast food chain. This is how a restaurant starts to fail in El Paso, please read and correct if you want to stay in town. If you want an example of this just look at El Tacotote they were very good in the beginning just like Juarez - they started skimping out on their meats, the salsas, their prices got too high, etc. now you drive by them and there is little activity in them they have even closed a couple. Taqueria...
Read moreIf you place a large to-go order of tacos that comes with large containers of salsas, wait till you receive the order before you get anything from the self-serve salsa/veggie bar. Otherwise they will refuse to give you the large containers of salsas because they assume you already filled many tiny to-go containers with salsas from the bar that equate to the amount they would have provided in the large containers. When we received our order without the large containers of salsas, we were told it was because we had already gotten salsas from the bar. We told the staff member we only filled a few tiny containers from the bar (mainly veggies plus a small amount of salsa), the staff member told us we would not be given the large containers of salsas and if we wanted we could fill more tiny containers with salsa from the bar. There was no warning by the staff member when we placed the to-go order for us to stay away from the bar or we wouldn't receive what we were told we would receive with our order. Not impressed with...
