Mezca — Restaurant in El Paso

One of the most terrible places I have reviewed, we didn't stay too long because the food was cold and seemed to not be prepared well. We went one morning for a weekend brunch and everything in the buffet seemed to be placed on without any warming whatsoever. The menudo was lukewarm at best and really didn't sit well. My wife was sick to her stomach for a few days after the visit and I immediately became nauseous after we left. We did speak to the person in charge and he mentioned that we just needed to mix the food around to get to the warm food. We eventually left our food on the table and left. Terrible experience that left us not wanting to visit any fast food restaurant my for awhile. #FoodPoisoning #NeverAgain...

The place is really good I enjoyed the music and drinks, but the service is pretty bad. We got our drinks from the bar because none of the servers stopped and ask for our order. When i asked a server if she can take our order (for the second time) she rolled her eyes. We enjoyed everything except for the lack of service. I know restaurants/bar service is challenging especially during the weekend but if I’m treating someone with respect specially because she’s working I expect to have the same respect back. Worked 7 year in the restaurant/bar business so I understand the stress of the moment but at the same time I don’t understand...

Tried this place out, the Mezcalina drink and costra tacos were excellent, highly recommend both of them. The entertainment was engaging, fun, and the songs brought back memories. The service, however, was severly lacking. We had our servers' attention at first, then this dude walked in and forget it. It was all over. She wouldn't leave his side, always at his beck and call for every fresh beer he needed, at the bar... Then more people showed up, and the place got too crowded, we were boxed in. I will try this place again but maybe sit at the bar or another section, ...
