L&L Hawaiian Barbecue — Restaurant in El Segundo

the food at this place is aweful probably the worst Hawaiian food I've ever eaten, the rice is mushy, the teriyaki sauce is salty, their meat portions are tiny, the spam in the spam masubi was overcooked and they wrap their masubi in celephan which is hard to unwrap so you find yourself battling your masubi instead of eating it. Because I worked late tonight I ordered an hour before closing and didn't find out until after I got home to eat that they made my order incorrectly and gave me a plate of food completely different than the menu description, I ordered the Low Carb plate which was supposed to be made with vegetables (instead of rice and macaroni salad) and topped with a fried egg. Instead of vegetables they overloaded my plate with that mushy rice and that macaroni salad (the kind you can buy at Smart and Final) and didn't bother adding the fried egg. By the time I got home and found out, it was too late to return the food and/or too late to call the manager to complain about what happened. I ended up throwing the food in the garbage...what a...

Well...first of all this place is a take out place, unless you like to eat standing, because there are no chairs at all. The food have to say is good and definitely with the Hawaiian flavor, and they really serve great portions for what you are paying, so in that aspect no complaints at all. But in the attitude and behaviour of the people working there, to much to say. First of all, in the back, seems that employees are just taking time to criticize whoever comes in, if it's to short, to dressy, to casual, to arrogant, look like a clown, etc,etc and the girl at the front laughing about their comments, like we, customers were deaf or wouldn't mind The atmosphere in general quite awful, due in aspect for these comments and in general the indisposition of all these workers, seems that there is no manager or he/she accept this kind of behaviour In my case, first and last time I get there, won't repeat the...

I ordered the spam musubi and it was somehow undercooked and the rice wasn’t sticky all at the same time. This would be fine if I wasn’t paying four dollars (each, 8$ total) for what essentially cost one dollar to create. Everything at the store is pricey. amazing beef, rice and macaroni bowl was great (nice, not terrible trying to be nice but I’m still eating it and it’s like tf?) but there’s no way this is worth $24. This is some thing I can get from a freezer meal at Costco, but more than twice the price. I don’t think I’ll ever be coming back here. I just sometimes think spam musubi will be good and it has been, but this was the worst waste of $30 I’ve spent in a very long time ( Unfortunately, I live next-door so sometimes I am weak and have ordered from here. I told myself it was cheaper than DoorDash, but DoorDash somewhere else was better) And I bet on Bryce Young...
