Kreation Juicery & Avoholic Bar - El Segundo — Restaurant in El Segundo

One of my vices that has formed in my adult life is Pearl Couscous. I can't get enough of it. If I see pearl couscous, I gotta get it. It's like pasta but better. It's my only known kryptonite on my quest to become rockstar skinny.

So, when we popped into this Kreation to load up on snacks for our trip to Ojai, I saw a pre-packaged bowl that read "Conscious Couscous Bowl" filled to the brim with Pearl Couscous. I couldn't resist and bought it, along with some blackened chicken to feel better about myself.

However, I was blinded by the Pearl Couscous excitement and failed to realize it came with a huge bed of arugula. I got trojan horsed by some arugula smh.

I HATE arugula. It tastes like soap. Idk how any of y’all like it. When I opened the plastic container and saw the mound of arugula lurking beneath, I took a deep breath while tilting my head back to soil in defeat. I got got.

I demolished the quality couscous and chicken, doing my best to eat around the devils lettuce. This one is one me, I gotta read better and not get so blinded by my love for Pearl Couscous.

Located on Main Street in downtown El Segundo, this Kreation location is my favorite one. The selection of salads and sandwiches are fresh, healthy and conveniently packed to go (or grab a small table outside and enjoy, if available). The smoothies are also divine. You can tell that a great deal of love and intention goes into every "Kreation".

Customer service is always top notch - they are especially patient if you have questions while browsing the vast selection of items,

If you like almond milk, they've just launched a few flavors you can take to go. The plain is the cleanest I've ever tasted (outside of homemade), and the Blue Majik is a must try. It's soooo tasty!

As someone who works at a juice and smoothie bar, I love trying new places out of town and seeing what other stores have to offer. My boyfriend and I came here on their 18th anniversary celebration day where they were doing a BOGO deal— the store was PACKED. The staff still made a point to welcome us, ask if they could help, and checked us out very quickly all with the best attitudes and energy. The açaí chia pudding was AMAZING, the amazon bowl was incredible (that raspberry flavor!!), coffee was good, and I can’t wait to try the gluten-free cake and bread I got! I wished I lived here so I could try everything they offer! On top of all that, the prices were SO reasonable!...
