First time coming here, great old fashioned drive through, loved the burgers! food was fresh, pickles and tomatoes were not soggy like most places nowadays, it was made to order and very quick service. Fries were ok, they're the skinny crispy kind, (I have yet to find French fries as amazing as those found in the small-town of Richfield, Utah at Sandy's Drive Inn) their .25 cent "baby" cones were bigger than we expected, I had to eat some before giving it to the baby (poor me ;) ) and they were enough to appease our 4 and 6 year olds which was great. I was disappointed not to find any shake toppings such as oreo, Reeses cookie dough etc, all I saw were the old fashioned fruit flavors like pineapple, strawberry, raspberry etc etc... There were at least a dozen or so. The place itself was a bit run down but due to the nature of it being an old fashioned drive through we expected that. Overall we would recommend it and would definitely go back. I'd much prefer this place to any...
Read moreI was eager to try this place based on articles I read about it and the nearby Cree-Mee stand. I opted for the drive in because it had inside seating and it was 90 degrees outside. I got the daily special which was a chili cheese dog and fries. The dog is a mild footlong with a corresponding bun. Unfortunately, the chili sauce tastes like tomato sauce which an amount of paprika that overwhelms everything in the bun. That, to me, is not chili sauce. The bun did not hold up and basically disintegrated before I finished the dog. The fries were hot and good. I also got a local specialty- the Marshmallow Pepsi. It's marshmallow syrup with Pepsi which creates this creamy sweet drink. I'm glad I tried it but probably won't have it again. The counter staff was efficient and we got our stuff quickly. The eating area is fine for a 50s...
Read moreWent into the building to see all staff huddled together talking. Only after their conversation was over did we get waited on. At 57 degrees outside, the air conditioning was on, making it very cold inside the building. With 4 staff "working", and only us inside to eat, it took over 10 minutes for our food. We ordered 2 footling chili dogs, fries and drink. The fries were not hot at all. They was old and tasted funny, like fried in old grease. The hotdog seemed to be held under hot water and then placed on a bun. As if uncooked. There was about 3 tablespoons of chili on this footlong. Eating uncooked food or food fried in old grease is unhealthy and dangerous. Did I mention the tables and floor was dirty? With 4 staff working there should not have been any of these issues. Eat at your own risk. I...
