New Garden — Restaurant in Eldon

Extremely over priced for the quality of food on buffet. Found insects in sweet and sour sauce on buffet. Dessert bar extremely old, cheesecake was sour and curdled, and lettuce brown and slimy looking. Owners always very rude to servers in front of customers. We watched as a customer made a mess at the buffet and the server (who was trying her best to clean the other messes the same customer had made) was shouted at in front of several tables of customers by Henry (cook) who acted like it was her fault that the buffet stand was a mess, like she had not been doing her job, however she had just tended to the buffet before this customer destroyed it. We spoke to other customers around our table who informed us that this server always does an outstanding job but is treated in a borderline abusive way by the owners. Would get home late and was in mood for chicken lomain and SweetSour Shrimp. Decided to stop at New Garden. My mistake. The only reason for the three stars is . . they tried. #1 IF you like sickening sweet, order anything sweet & sour. No kind balance. Like using syurp. #2 IF you like Rangoon's (and I LOVE them) be prepared. They are SO sweet and doughy. Yuck! I was a bit shocked at how sweet. #3 The sweet Sour shrimp was JUST that . . breaded fried shrimp and the syurp sauce. No onion, peppers, carrots or pineapple. That's just wrong. #4 Chicken Lomain . . gooooy . . as if noodles did not get rinsed before adding other stuff. Goo mixed with the sauce . . eeewwww. Carrots, noodles, chicken, lettuce covered in goo. Sorry but I can't go back. My blood sugar went thru the roof! Again, if YOU like sweet, then this IS the place for you. Oh . . Carry out only. No buffet. Only chairs to wait...

They ripped me off atleast 10 plus dollars!! Tried to order online an it's was one price but was having trouble logging in so I ordered in at the store an it was more then 10 dollars then I was quoted online so happy an they had every excuse in the book on why it wasn't their fault an so on I WILL NEVER GO BACK

Worst experience ever with the new owners! there food all taste the same an the prices are different on the menu then what they charge.
