I think that this place is a little pricier and the portion is slightly smaller than some of the other Mexican restaurant choices in my area but this one is as closest to my home so I go there occasionally. I arrived shortly before it was time for them to close and asked if it was possible to still place an order. The man I spoke with said no problem at all and took my order and it was ready to go in less than 15 minutes. Even though that was late in the day my food was at a good temperature as if it had in freshly prepared and it also tasted fresh when we tried it when I arrived home less than 10 minutes later. I think that the people that run this place care about making sure the customers are satisfied with their experience and I would have to say they did their job of doing just that for me and my family that evening and we truly appreciate it. All the other dining establishments in my area close way earlier and I appreciate that this restaurant stays open as late as they do and that they are as ready and able to serve thier customers (when they're getting ready to close) as they are when they just opening each day. The biggest complaint I have is that I have never been able to contact them through the phone number provided for some reason. I don't know what the issue is. A note to the employees of this restaurant: I would like to personally thank you, especially those of you who work behind the scenes preparing the food and those who serve the customers and clean up the tables in the restaurant and who do all the little things that no one else sees. I commend you on all your hard work and want you to know that I appreciate...
Read moreDissapointing service tonight. Have been here several times before and had very pleasant experience. Waiter had very poor manners. Ordered a steak dish that some reason tasted like fish. We let the waiter know who just said "no it doesnt" after about a minute of staring at us said "so your not going to eat it" we replied "no". He just grabbed it and walked away without saying anything leaving my wife with nothing to eat for the rest to the meal, didn't offer any different food just took it. No explanation of what he could do. He did not come back until he gave us the check. He just said they cook everything together on the grill and thats the way it is so the steak tasted like fish because it was cooked next to fish. Not a good excuse for a bad meal. Not a good reason to act like we are stupid. We went and paid up front and let the waiter at the register know we were not happy with the service. He just told us to wait a minuet and sent the same waiter back up who just stood there. We explined that my wife was left with nothing to eat and you didn't come back until the check was delivered. He just said "so... I took it off your check" and stared back at us. No apology, no offer of something different. Very uncomfortable experience overall. The other dishes were great but this experience was not worth it. Not coming back. Not because of food but due to the...
Read moreI thought it was okay food but definitely nothing special or anything close to the Mexican food I grew up eating. My friend wasn’t happy at all but I was being optimistic and was not going to make a big deal out of the small portion of fajitas I received. But, my friend ordered green salsa or salsa verde and when we got the bill they charged both of us $1.50 for it. I asked the lady why she was charging both of us but she just said yes. She did not understand English very well but she understood me when I pointed at the charge and asked why we were both being charged the $1.50. I can understand charging for the salsa if they need to but not twice. I ordered the queso and I was fine with paying $5.00 for that along with the meal but on top of the $1.50 charge they also added a $1 to the listed menu price for the fajitas. I get inflation but they went a little far with the add ons in my opinion. I will be in the area working for a while and they probably chased us away over a couple dollars which I think was a very poor business decision. I’m from Houston TX so maybe I just know how things are supposed to go at a Mexican food restaurant. This is just to inform people so they will know the charges and not be surprised with them. The green salsa is worth a $1.50 but not $3.00. Lol. Oh well,...
