After being displaced from our house my family and I had to drive to my MILs house while waiting for other accommodations to be made. We stopped at this bojangles on the way there to get lunch. We went through the drive through. We ordered a Diet Pepsi and they gave us regular. We sent it back and my husband told them that it has to be diet for medical reasons. They handed us another regular Pepsi and argued with us when I told them it was not diet. We pulled over and tested it. Sure enough, not diet. Our daughter is a type 1 diabetic. This could have put her in the hospital. I got out of the car and went inside. My intention was to make them aware of the repercussions of such a mistake.
The drive through workers saw me come inside and immediately started laughing as they each turned around to look. It was a good 5 minutes before anyone addressed me. I said that I wished to speak with a manager and explained the situation. One of the drive through workers came and asked if I wanted a different drink and kept trying to insist that it was diet. I told him they needed to check the bag because this was most definitely not diet. I had to ask to speak to the manager again. She finally comes out but not after listening to the story of the drive through workers. Her explanation is that the Diet Pepsi was running out while they were filling our drink. That explanation just made me even more upset because the bag running out does not automatically pump it full of sugar. There is no reason why they should keep passing it off as diet. That is dangerous. She still tried to convince me that it was diet even after being shown proof that it was not. She finally just offered a diet Mountain Dew.
Upon returning to the car, I sat down to eat my meal only to find out that they had given me fries instead of bo-rounds and they were greasy, soggy, and cold. If I could give less than one...
Read morePurchased a cajun filet biscuit that was under cooked fortunately I didn't ingest the meal. Called management who stated I can come back and get another but I doubt I will, I would rather have a refund. After this encounter I'll stick with Chik fil la!!! Decided to give this Bojangles another try, "Big Mistake". First, only had fries at 10:30am which have been under heat lights for hours, extremely dry. Secondly, I ordered steak, egg and cheese, got a steak biscuit only. Didn't discover this until I returned home. Why do we have to investigate drive thru orders to make sure they are correct. Why is it Chik fil a la is the only drive thru where I have never had this issue? Bojangles need to do better!!
This is an update as of 08.31.23. Ordered 1 biscuit and 1 order of hashbrowns and had to pull up to wait. There were already two cars waiting ahead of me. Not only that they only had nickles to do change, the employee at the drive thru window is definitely does not want to be at work. As I'm sitting here two more cars just pulled to the side. Employee just came to the window to ask what was my order. I'll be glad when Chik fil la finish remodeling and open back up. This place is continually has poor service and this isn't due to COVID, they were like...
Read moreMy family loves Bojangles and we eat it all the time. This is literally the worst location I have ever been to. The service was horrible!!!! My kids and I waited 20 minutes before we could even order. When I got to the menu to order, the lady asked me to hold on for a minute. After another 10 minutes of waiting, I asked for the Tailgate Special and she replied with “Yeah um we’re out of chicken.” I said okay so you don’t have any chicken at all. She said “well um hold on.....it’ll be 30 minutes.” I said okay. She said you still want it. I said YES I’ll wait. I started trying to finish telling her my order and what fixins I wanted. I had to keep repeating myself while the employee laughed and giggled on the other end saying What. I then told the young lady never mind and we left. I will NEVER go back to this location again. When we left there were still 6 or 7 cars behind us waiting on service. I have never received this kind of treatment at a Drive-thru. I’m not one to complain either but if I were the owner at this location I would want to know. There are plenty of good people who need a job apparently the current employees don’t. And for the owners/managers reference we were at this location on June 18,...
