Do not go here!!! They do NOT care about their customers especially the supervisor Matthew!!!!!On 9/6 at 9:55pm my daughter and I went into the store on Clemson rd in Columbia,SC. When we walked in a young lady helped proceeded to help us. Didn’t speak, offer anything, or nothing. Before telling her what I wanted, I asked her can I use a coupon that was in my app(buy any dozen get one original glazed for free). She stopped and didn’t say anything just looked confused. She then turned for help and another girl who didn’t speak came over. I asked her about the coupon and showed her my phone. She said “oh yeah that’s fine” then stopped and looked at me until I started to tell her my order. She then gave the box to the first young lady that was helping me and walked away. After I finished giving her my order, my doughnuts were set on the counter by drive thru and everyone was doing their own thing. Did I mention it was 4 people working and only me and my daughter in the store. We waited for 3 mins then Alexis from drive thru yelled my total from drive thru. I asked her about the coupon and showed her my phone. She took my phone with her to drive thru while she proceeded to take someone order at drive thru. She seemed bothered to help me and the customer at drive thru. After taking their order she finally scanned my phone, came back gave it to me, and walked away. Then the First Lady that helped us in the beginning came to the counter and started bagging the doughnuts. I thought everything was good until Matthew came to the counter and looked at me crazy. Didn’t introduce himself or anything. I said “I guess you need to see the coupons too” He said yes. He looks at the coupon and says “this is for today until” I said until what then he changes and daily it’s expired. I said well I wish the first 3 people would’ve told me that he said Yea and walked away. I said well take the original off. He tells the drive they girl to take it off and walked away. She asked him to void it. He voided the item came back got my card, processed my payment, and gave me my card. Still did not apologize. I asked for his name and corporate number. He said why. Told him service was horrible and the first girl should’ve told me I couldn’t use coupon. He said oh she new and would you like me to show you again that it’s expired. Absolutely HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! He should Not be supervisor. He is a terrible person to represent your company!! Went through to grab a dozen doughnuts. I had a couple of questions, the lady at the drive through seemed super annoyed that I asked them. Wasn’t helpful- but I get it, probably a busy morning. She didn’t tell me my total but told me to drive around, so I couldn’t get my payment ready.
I get to the window and she is telling me that my total is $6 more than menu price. I know tax is configured, but not $6 on a $16 dozen of doughnuts. (Said my total was $22 and some change)
I asked her why it was higher than the menu, she snapped back with an attitude, “PRICES WENT UP”. I then asked why they were higher than the menu says, she snapped back “I don’t know why the menu says that but price went up”
I asked for my card back because I don’t want to pay over price. Placed the order on my phone. Prices did NOT go up, it was the same price from the menu (actually a little cheaper than menu price because mobile order) when I paid on my phone.
I was quoted a 15 minute wait. I sat in my car and waited for 5 mins before going in (I didn’t want her to cancel my order so that she could “prove a point”.) I went inside and got my doughnuts and left. The doughnuts were COLD, hard, and chewy. I understand the “special” doughnuts not being up to par, but the “hot and fresh” sign was on- and the glazed were disgusting!!!!!!
I didn’t want to be “that guy” so I didn’t go back in for replacements. Just left. Called corporate, they gave me a coupon for a free dozen, which is fine- I’ll give it to a co-worker. Didn’t get a refund because I didn’t ask for one. I threw the ones I got in the trash. I don’t want my toddler getting food poisoning from the nasty old doughnuts they tried to give us.

Read moreExtremely poor employee serving today and this happen the day after Hero day honoring First Res ponders which we all should be proud of. So very sad someone is so bitter they can not service one who could save their life so quickly with out a thought of "do you like me or not". We do not need people serving like that in any position, she needs to go before the day is out. Hopefully she was not working yesterday. Embarrassing that it happened in NE Columbia.
Jeremy Thompson 7 hrs · I will never ever step foot in a Krispy Kreme ever again! This morning I went into the Krispy Kreme on Clemson road to pick up donuts for one of my accounts. There were two ladies working and I was the only customer inside. While one of the ladies was helping me the other walked over to the drive thru window. When she looked out the window she said " I ain't doin this one. No way I'm not serving him. Someone else is going to have to take care of him cause I ain't doin it". I looked out the window and it was a police officer. I looked at the lady and asked her why she wouldn't serve him. She said " I don't do the POlice". So the lady helping me had to stop getting my order so she could get his because that piece of crap employee refused to serve him. I waited until I got my order and looked at the other lady and said you know that is wrong! She chose to ignore me. I've never seen something so ignorant in my life.
