Yesterday, Thursday, February 6, 2025, I had a very frustrating experience. I went through the drive-thru and ordered a hamburger. After placing my order, I noticed that the line was very long and the cars weren’t moving. Since I was still in front of the speaker after a few minutes, I tried to order something else. I said "hello" to the speaker at least four times, but since there was no response, I waited until I got to the window.
Once at the window, I asked the employee to add an iced coffee to my order. When it was time to pay, it seemed like my code wasn’t working, so the employee asked me to wait a minute while the manager or the person in charge came. By that point, I had already been in the drive-thru for about 10 minutes. After the manager helped with my order, I was told to move to the next window.
At the next window, the employee handed me my hamburger. I asked if my iced coffee was included, and she said, "No, there’s no coffee." I asked if she could check, and she replied, "No, it wasn’t added." I said, "Okay, can you charge me for it now?" to which she responded, "No, you have to go back to the speaker and order it there."
I asked to speak with the manager. I tried to be as polite as possible, and the manager, whose name I don’t remember, told me, "No, sir, you have to go back to the speaker." I responded, "Really? I’ve been in the drive-thru for more than 10 minutes, and now you're asking me to get back in line?" She said, "Yes, the people behind you have also been waiting for 10 minutes." I replied, "I understand, but can I place my order and park in front while you bring it to me?" The manager said, "No, go to the speaker." I told her, "This is unacceptable," and she simply responded, "Go to the speaker."
I would like to speak with someone who can explain to me at what point McDonald's stopped being fast food. It took me 10 minutes to get a cheeseburger, and the attitude of your employees was arrogant. Thank you.

Read moreI've been here a few times and haven't really had too many issues. Today, however, made no sense. I put in an order for a small black coffee through the app. I went inside thinking it would be faster than the drive thru. Only two people were ahead of me. I waited about ten minutes before realizing I wasn't getting service anytime soon and I'll take my chances with drive thru. I got to the intercom and told them my order number. They said they couldn't find it. I assured them it was ordered and showed in my screen and that I would show them at the widow. After about another five minutes or so I got to the first window. I explained the situation again and showed the guy working the window it was, in fact, in ordered. I told him it was just for a small black coffee and he told me to just go ahead and pull up. I got to the second window and had to explain it all over again to this kid, who the proceeded to two me he needed to talk to his manager about it after, once again, showing proof that the order has gone through. Once the manager gave the okay they had to make a fresh pot. While waiting I asked the kid for a small cup of ice. He looked at the machine for a few moments and told me he couldn't give me a cup of just ice only of cup of water with extra ice. At that point I had already been waiting nearly 30 minutes for this small black cup of coffee that I was over and just said fine, whatever. The manager overheard and got some ice from the cooler. Not even a couple feet from the other employee. So I have to ask... 30 minutes to get a small black cup of coffee. Can't figure out a simple cup of ice. What the hell kind of establishment do...

It's the closest to where I live so I've been going here since I was a kid, but the last 3 or 4 years it's gone downhill fast. They get your order wrong about 50% of the time and the fries are cold/reheated/tasteless about 90% of the time, to the point where we don't even bother ordering fries from them that often anymore. The wait times are insane as well, no matter the time of day. Tonight during dinner time I waited 20 minutes for my food, which you would think was because it was being made fresh, but no. The entire order was clearly microwaved/reheated to the point where some of it was inedible. We've been complaining and filling out the online surveys periodically for the last year and all we ever get is an apology. No offers of refunding us or even a coupon for future orders and they never improve on service or food quality. We've only kept going this long because of its convenient location, but it's not worth it anymore. We'll be driving out of our way for our McDonalds runs from now on just to avoid wasting our money on food we didn't order and can't eat because it's so poorly prepared anyways. Do yourself a favor and steer clear...
