A janky looking restaurant with a gas station view. Based on that alone I would normally take a pass, but it got good reviews so I gave it a try and I was not disappointed. I got an al pastor burrito and it was a big stuffed delicious burrito. I would 100% eat here again. The meat was flavorful and well-cooked, the burrito was hefty and well stuffed with cheese and sour cream and lettuce and tomatoes and beans. Tremendously satisfying, very delicious and reasonably priced!

It's a nice hidden gem. Stop by on Saturday around 3pm. Food was delicious i got the taco dinner wife got the torta dinner. The meat was juicy and the torta was big, pre-covid big. Horchata was sweet not bland. Can't wait to go back and try something different. Maybe a molcajete or menudo. They have slots but in a separate room, which is nice and not in the open.

My husband ordered the steak fajitas special and I ordered the 3 taco dinner (chicken) and horchata (also a HUGE glass).All DELICIOUS. We will definitely be back to try the rest of their specials!

I was really hopeful for this place since it's practically walking distance from my house. And it had really good reviews and Elgin has a million taco places so the fact that this one had such good reviews and was so close to my house made me hopeful. I got the steak taco dinner. The rice and beans were absolutely delicious and the homemade hot sauce was perfect.

But the steak meat in the tacos was so chewy and hard I couldn't even finish more than one taco. I don't know what was wrong with it but it was like chewing on pure cartilage. Threw out the tacos. It was maybe the worst steak meat I've ever had in a taco 😭

They have such good reviews maybe I just went in on a bad day or it was a bad batch of steak. I don't know but it was really disappointing and I never write bad reviews on any page ever but the meat was so hard and chewy I couldn't even finish it. 😔

Honestly the steak was one star. I gave them three stars because I feel bad and the rest of the food...

The food at Mr. Cesar’s is exceptional!!! I haven’t had Mexican food this good in a very long time! Everything is made with care, and the flavor - omg. I’m honestly excited to go in person at some point. I’m also glad my delivery went smoothly this time. The menu is great!! ——————————————— (Original review)

Menu looked great! So, I placed an order on GrubHub that was accepted and “in the works”. Two different drivers went to get the order. The first left for unknown reasons. The second got there and all of a sudden there was an issue with my order and it was just canceled - no valid reason provided. Thankfully GrubHub gave me a full refund and a credit for a future order…but I’d be super leery ordering...

Food used to be a lot better. Ordered in person with the owner face to face and he still messed up our order. Both of us ordered dinner meals and only one of us got the dinner meal. Asked for chips and didn't get chips. Had to ask again, the food being wrong we didn’t find until we already made it back to work. We’ve chosen to eat there in the past and everything takes forever, we place an order to go and it still takes a long time and our foods messed up. I love small places that crank out good food, this place used to do that. The owner seems stressed and unorganized, also things are not clean. I feel sorry for writing a bad review but I hope they read it and...
