Iâm a huge fan of alfajores. I travel a lot and I always look for Argentine bakeries in different states so I can try their alfajores. Today I got to try some from this bakery and I have to say im pretty disappointed. The cookie itself was good. Moist and soft. Not dry or super crumbly. However the amount of Dulce de Leche they put in the alfajor is almost disrespectful. If the cookie is going to be made that thick, there has to be a thicker layer of Dulce de Leche. That little line isnât doing anything. The star of the alfajor is the Dulce de Leche and i wasnât even able to taste it because it had so little. Whoever bakes them, please add more Dulce de Leche to the alfajor....
   Read moreWe recently visited this excellent Uruguayan bakery that my wife and I really loved. We tried five different bizcochos, two empanadas, and a cappuccino. Everything was delicious. One of the owners served us and took time to explain the pastries and other offerings, which we really appreciated. There were many customers in the morning with a lively atmosphere and everyone is enjoying being at a great bakery with others. It's authentic to the Uruguayan and Argentinean way of pastries and it's the only place my family goes to, to get them while we are in NO. The place is clean, staff are super friendly and the restroom is also clean. You can just come here in the morning, have a cappuccino and a factura and have a pleasant relaxing time.
