If you are looking for a place in Elizabeth area or even in the tri-state area. Look no further!! Riverbay Diner, has excellent soul food. Even the signature drink, " Riverbay Rumble!" I just can't get enough of it!!!! I am telling for all who will read this, the food is so fresh, it comes out hot! I said to myself, thank God there's a place that not only you can get excellent excellent excellent food. But the atmosphere is so warm peaceful and full of laughter and joy! When you go there make sure you meet the owner, Mrs Perry. She is such a wonderful woman of God. The workers there are excellent and so nice. To be honest this place has the best service better than any other Diner that I have been to in the past. When you visit make sure you try the sweet potato cornbread and the cheesy cornbread!!! Omgnesss 😋😋!!!!!!! If my taste bugs can speak for themselves, the words will be endless as to how great the cornbread is there. It's moist, it's like you can eat it like cake. I am always looking for a new soul food restaurant to indulge in and when I tell you I have found the ONE! This place is it! This undiscovered gem has it all from the hospitality, to the warm cornbread that comes out as you wait for you freshly cooked soul food to be served. The entire staff is amazingly friendly and ready to fill your coffee cup at your demand. So far I've had the baked chicken wings, fried chicken, smothered chicken with cheese grits, shrimp rasta pasta, and of course the lovely sides such as collard greens, green beans, 10 cheese mac& cheese, and best cornbread you'll have in a long time!!! Saw a new restaurant/diner open up in the neighborhood and decided to try it out. The soul food spot definitely feels like home. The hospitality there is absolutely amazing and genuine. The energy in there was very wholesome and family oriented. The mango guava lemonade and the sweet teas is a much.
