Catrachito Salvadoreño #2 — Restaurant in Elizabeth

These are REAL pupusas. They are filled with goodness! I highly recommend if you want real Salavadorian pupusas. HOWEVER! The service is horrible and not to mention I just got ripped off but was so hungry that I took it anyway. I ordered 2 mixed pupusas and when I got there the lady said $6.50! Mind you, I’ve always ordered and they always were $2.50 each even though the menu they have says they are less, I didn’t mind paying $5 for 2 pupusas. In the past however, this same lady has tried to charge me $5.50 telling me that .50 was tax. I have told her in the past “no, I’m paying you $5 like I do always with the other lady here.” I haven’t ordered since June of this year. When she told me $6.50, I asked “why?” This is the same lady that tried to get me on tax before. She said, “they are now $3 each and we charge .50 for the container, do you want them or not?” She had a nasty attitude and I should have said “no” but I took them anyway. I’m not sure if she is related to the owners or not. The first time I called to order over a year ago, she wasn’t there, and they were super nice. The pupusas are still the same, super good, but the service is terrible. Charging for the container? How else am I supposed to take them? They should update their menu because I was not planning on spending more than $5 as usual. Still, I was very hungry so it...

Food was beyond delicious and reasonable. The server was great. The place was emaculate. The coffee was freshly made. The food as well. Made to order not all ready made ahead of time for customers. I had a typical breakfast. Tortillas scramble eggs with onion tomatoes and green peppers, yellow plantains, crema, cheese avacado. Very delicious. We had a valeada with egg, been and cheese. The valeada tasted like they made right in front of you. And of course we order pupusas. The best I had in a long time. He ordered revueltas and loroco. The lorocontasted fresh and am sure it had to be made from frozen loroco but could not even tell. The revueltas when i cut through the cheese was niece and googuie. Just how I like it. The place is on the 1st floor. It was very easy for the wheel on the baby carriage. Parking is on the street. It was 4 of us, and we paid 48$. But we only drank coffee. 100%...

Como consumidor que paga y espera por un servicio merece un trato justo, esta comentario es para que puedan poner atención a su servicio ya que se les dice en persona y responden como si No le gusta puede irse!!!

Primera ves ordené sopas y pupusas, las sopas eran recalentadas y las pupusas frías y tuve que esperar 30 min.

Segunda ves hoy Julio 9 ordené 8 pupusas la orden equivocada y las pupusas sin cocinar bien, la masa de las pupusas le faltó y el tiempo de espera fueron 40 min.

La respuesta de la muchacha que me atendió fue!! Yo no recibí la orden !! Y jamás me puso atención a lo que le decía jamás pedí el dinero solo quería dejarle saber buscado que no pase la Tercera ves pero al ver la atención al cliente y respuesta!!! Prefiero buscar otro lugar para comprar comida, que pena soy una mujer trabajadora y amante a la cocina pero por falta de tiempo por mi trabajo compro comida para mi familia pago y espero por un trato digno y respetuoso y comida bien cocinada, La calidad depende de las ganas de servir.
