Don Ricky Colombian Bakery — Restaurant in Elizabeth

So I am here visiting from Florida and was surfing the internet for something good. I found Don Ricky online and had to try it. Problem was, I was about a 25 minute walk. I finally couldn't take it anymore. I trekked all the way there and I must say, I am sooooo NOT disappointed! I got a few of everything mentioned on other posts so I could try it all. Pandeyuca = FABULOUS!!!! Arepa with cheese = equally as good! But that Rum Cake?!?! OMG! HEAVEN!! OUTSTANDING service! (Did I mention the Rum Cake?) I have been in Elizabeth now for a few days, went to the city, and I can tell you honestly, I haven't had anything as good so far. That Rum Cake was, (was because I ate it) absolutely OUT OF THIS WoRLD! I have a few more days here and I WILL be going back. If you are ever in the neighborhood, you MUST visit this place. The male owner is very kind, friendly, and attentive towards all customers. He charges actual price. But his wife is very rude towards all woman and only woman customers and ups the price constantly. I called her out on her price changes compared to what the male owner charges me & she cussed me out and threw my bag of food across table and snatched money out my hand. She is the reason I don’t go there anymore unless her husband is there working instead. He is honest with prices and provides phenomenal customer service for all customers. Food is delicious...

Bad service. Breakfast is overpriced. The waitress even had the audacity to tell me where the tip jar was, expecting a tip for the bad food/service. I'd rather go to another place that serves better both in good and service...
