Spanish Rest #1 — Restaurant in Elizabeth

I am not from around here, but my family is. My father has taken me three times to this place. But today the experience was not that pleasant. It was the first time that we order to eat in the restaurant. My dad asked for a “sancocho” and they gave it to him in a normal ceramic bowl, which is good. Then my aunt was ordering her food and I saw them serving to her on a plastic plate, so I told my mom oh it looks like my aunt didn’t tell them the food was to eat in the restaurant. Immediately a staff member answer me with a really bad attitude “ Esos son los platos que se usan aquí”. As I said I am not from here, I didn’t know how things work in the restaurant. First of all, I wasn’t talking to her. I was talking to my mom. Second she didn’t have to talk to me like that giving me that bad attitude. Really good variety, very tasty food 😋 and awesome reasonable prices for a delicious Dominican meal that reminds me of my beloved natal country every time I eat there (at least twice a week). I also catered from them for a Wedding Anniversary celebration and my Daughter's Birthday Party, and everyone were very pleased with the outcomes. I’ve eaten here many time and I must say, the food is amazing and the staff is very friendly. Great food, amazing service and cheap? Definitely would recommend! Just moved to the area a fee months ago & this is the only tasty trustworthy place i go to just to have a good meal. Good food at a very economical price. Good size portions too.
