The Skyline Diner — Restaurant in Elizabeth

Food was good, and while it is a diner, it's not what most people would expect unless they were a local. Their sign says it best "Diner Restaurant Sports Bar ATM NJ Lottery", it's just missing that it's also attached to a strip club. It really is a combination of all those things. For the NJ Lottery, it's what you would expect at a gas station, both with a large scratch off ticket section and live computer betting. Don't use credit card in this place, I have been customer for 17 year and believe me food is great, but 2 waitress than are always Sunday at morning keep bothering me from June of this year about a transaction with my credit card than I don't even remember, they says than the money was refunded to my card and they had to pay for it. To be honest I don't even check my statements of my card, I just remembered that when I was there, but today my patience was over. I will not check my account, because I have not time, I work 15 hours every day, I just will send a CHECK for I guess she says the extraordinary amount of $25, and very simple , I'm not coming back to that place, I enjoyed food there for 17 years ,but you guys lost a costumer just because your waitress don't know how to charge with credit card, thank...

Delicious food and authentic NJ diner experience at Seaport Diner!! I got the Reuben sandwich with fries, it was huge and had amazing flavor - the corned beef was tender, the cheese melty, rye bread was toasty, and the sauerkraut with Russian dressing made it perfect. Plus it was open face, a really unique touch, served with crunchy pickles, sauerkraut and yummy fries. A feast for sure! My family for sunny side eggs (perfectly cooked) with crispy bacon and pancakes. They were super happy, said it was delicious.

The location is perfect for a meal near Newark airport. The service was great, food was served nice and hot, place was clean. And you get that cool New Jersey diner vibe with leather booths and cool bar seating.
