Listen. As I sit here sipping my drink awaiting news on a promotion, I put some things together. I realized I almost always end up at this place when I'm having a rough day, or just generally a hard time. For a drink, some warmth. But the bar tenders here... They listen. It feels like they listen to more than your words. Even if you only come in once in a while, they remember you. They are kind, intelligent people. The sours are fantastic. I've had plenty of beers at plenty of bars, but coming here is the only answer for when things look grim. Read moreLast night was our first trip to Flywheel Brewing. Fantastic little spot with patio seating in addition to large seating areas inside. We loved Flywheel. Place was clean, service was great and the beer was good.
They had Bluegrass Meats and Catering food truck there last night. The truck was offering chargrilled oysters and meat/veggie kabobs. This was disappointing. They seemed overwhelmed with number of orders. The oysters were way over and they didn't offer any crackers or hot sauce- both staples with oysters. Our steak kabob was way over as well.
