The Dreamery — Restaurant in Elizabethtown

I took a walk in the city 2 weeks ago and acquired a Brioche Panini. It was made with a soft bakery fresh brioshe roll, a generous scoop of boubon banana foster gelato and boubon butterscotch sauce, set in a panini press until lightly toasted, cut in half, finished with dolips of whipped cream, a light dusting of powered sugar, and a drizzle of bourbon butterscotch sauce on top. Delish! 🍞 🍨 🍷

The tiny decorative floral metal cafe tables outside was much better for a proper photo imho. 📸 😊 🌸

Service was overally polite and professional although noone greeted me or said goodbye upon my arrival or leaving. Both the male and female teenage young looking employees operating the business seamed very quiet and introverted and easily distracted. I then quickly dismissed the last part of this observation since they became very distracted with my order due to a group of 14+ customers including their elementary school aged children that stepped in after my order was paid for.

Minor personal note: This business had a coming soon banner costed on another building in the middle of the square from 2017-19 which was removed suddenly without explanation. I had wondered what happened to the business at the back of my mind, but I am glad that is relocated to its current shared suite and hopefully is doing well for itself since it...

Yo. This place has THE best sweet treats available in Elizabethtown, KY.

If you are wanting something yummy to eat that is made well and by wonderful people then check this lovely gelato spot out! The flavors switch up and it'll be very difficult for you to choose just one. My family is not big on consuming sugar... but we hit this place up 3 times in their opening week AND bought 4 pints of different flavors to take home for our annual Thanksgiving dinner (and ended up sharing NONE of them with extended family - BAHAHHA!)! On one date night my husband and I actually KEPT A TAB OPEN so we could enjoy several different flavors! HA-HA!

The chicas who run the place are some of the best businesswomen in Elizabethtown, too! They work hard, truly care about their community, and they have made their gelato shop (as well as Vibe Coffee, just up the road) a comfortable place for people to enjoy a moment out-and-about!

The Dreamery was fantastic. I grabbed some gelato and it was some of the best I’ve ever had. The customer service was amazing and the young lady who assisted me allowed me to sample multiple flavors until I was able to narrow my choices down. I’d say if you are close by stop in and grab a scoop or three. I was advised that the flavors rotate, which is fine by me. They have tons of variety and with rotating flavors it will keep everything fresh and new for each visit. The vibe inside of the shop was great too!!The perfect spot for a hot summer...
