I can't really speak to the atmosphere, as I sent my husband to pick it up on his way back from an appointment. Pizza was excellent and flavorful. Crust could use a little more seasoning, but was nice and crispy while having a nice chew. Sauce was just the right amount of sweet, and obviously at least seasoned in house if not made completely in house (didn't watch it made, so not going to assume either way). Garlic knots were delicious, with just enough parm and garlic which was nicely set off by the marinara. Only thing slightly disappointing was the desserts... the cannoli shell was okay (refrigerated after frying, so if you know, you know), but the filling was gritty and had the consistency and mouthfeel of pre-made icing, not cannoli cream. Tiramisu was good on flavor, but the ladyfingers were a bit soggy, and the cream had been overwhipped to the point of almost being butter. Not a good texture.
TL;DR-- Pizza and garlic knots were great, and will probably be back for those... dessert was definitely lacking and was either store bought, or...
Read moreIm sorry this is later than I had planned to get it done but life happens sometimes. Anyways….. My husband and I discovered Little Charlie’s on one of our trips to the area. We come in to Etown a couple times a year. After discovering this gem we make it a point to go. Our last visit was after just getting into town, it was about 15 minutes before closing. We told the gentleman there we could come back another time and that we had driven in from out of town and this was our first stop. He said nonsense. What would you like? He said they had some slices still in the oven holding. We requested a couple slices and garlic knots. We stretched our legs a bit outside and when we got back to pick up he had made us a whole pizza and fresh knots. He even noticed my husband military license and gave us a discount. Pizza, was as we thought, delicious! I wish I had gotten the gentlemen’s name to give a shout out to. It I did not. We are heading back to Etown next week and it is on our list of...
Read moreI'm giving three stars because of everything EXCEPT the food. The food was amazing. Their marinara is very good. The dine in experience is rough. Very little room with Very small tables. We got the small pizza and if you put that on the table, you cover the whole table with the pan. For two people it would be ok, but for a family, the room is limited (we had Dad, mom, and two kids). There also is no direction on what to do when you walk in. So because it's a small dine in space, with no direction, people kinda pike on each other trying to figure things out. Couple that with a new restaurant, little staff and delicious food, you get a lot of irritated customers that just want food and direction.
If you want to eat here, order take out and eat at home. The food is excellent and you won't have to deal with the...
