Bravo Bakery — Restaurant in Elk Grove Township

If i could give them 0 stars i would. Two weeks ago i went in the bakery and wanted to order a cake for my son. They barely spoke english but we somehow understood each other. I had a picture of a cake i wanted and even sent them the same picture to their phone. They wrote all the info down and everything was set. Today i went inside(day before the pick up date) and wanted to see if maybe the cake was done. They dis recognized me but just started looking at each other. So i asked if the cake was done one of the ladies says “no cake, we close tomorrow” i was shocked. Than again i told them i ordered the cake two weeks ago so they even pulled my order slip and there it was with all the info. Long story short they did not make the cake. I am furious. I am mad. I was looking for a custom cake with the flavors of an all time classic candy (Bubu lubu). I went in brought the sample and it was done! In the process, I loved how exited the baker was to make my order, he was acomodating and happy to do this cake. The price was reasonable and the taste was very good! The only little detail here is that when I called to see if it was ready the person at the other end without asking any details about my order was rude. I was asking if I could pick up a bit earlier and promptly answered “no, all orders must be picked up at the time agreed when placing the order”. Is a good bakery and good bread but conchas finish so fast and most of the time they don't have telera breads those you use for mexican tortas 🙄 🤗 if you want fresh bread you need to go early really early in the morning around 6am trust me sometimes I have to call if there is conchas left at 7am and sometimes they said there is no more the next baking is at 11 am 🤔😣 conchas are the best bread when fresh made and more delicious w some hot chocolate coffee...
