I’m from Michigan and it’s my first time at this place, got few things to point, the menu is little pricey for a brunch but they have all different varieties and nice layout, everything was clean and restful loved everything they had, the food came in real fast not even 15 min our table was full with everything we ordered, the only reason I gave them 4 stars it’s because the waitress the 1st one who took our order she was one of the rudest person ever he attitude was not acceptable at all and she did upset my 3 years little girl when she was asking her something she just walked away and ignored her she only 3 years old and she started crying because of that I was shocked and she was bringing me a coffee she almost spilled the whole pod on me, we ended up with a different waitress and she was really nice and did more than enough to cover the 1st one mess, I didn’t get the chance her for her name but the second one was her name “MAYA” she’s awesome and great person. That’s the only thing was bothered us otherwise the place is good food wise.

So, it’s been a long time since we came here. The last time was in 2021, and things have changed. We used to love the basket of honey biscuits because they used to be buttery, crumbly, and fluffy. We came wanting those, and I feel like the biscuits were very similar, if not for sure, the canned Pillsbury biscuits. Baked to order but not homemade. The rest of the food was okay. I got the salmon lox bagel. It wasn’t the best constructed. I eat with my eyes, and I wasn’t as hungry after getting it. My husband got the Benedict and the eggs were overcooked. No runny yoke for his Benny. We went before the farmers market rush came, but things still went a little slowly. Also, as we ate, it got busy, and sitting next to the waiting people was not by favorite. Easy to walk to and good proximity to Farmers Market. Service was good too. Seating is weird. So many open tables available more inside the restaurant, but they had us wait to clean a table before seating us by the front door. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Seating: 1 star Service: 2 stars Food: 1 star Price: 2 stars

My wife and I went to Honey Biscuit in Mount Prospect on Monday, Jan 2 at 11am. I had heard great things about it and was excited to finally eat there. The restaurant was busy, but not overwhelmingly so. We waited maybe 5 minutes for a table. Unfortunately, we were seated on the small side of the restaurant that has only two booths, which I believe was partially the source of the subsequent service problems. The small side of the restaurant is closest to the front door. Despite being equipped with an automated heating/blowing mechanism designed to keep the cold air out, we had to eat our meal with our winter coats on.

Our server came fairly quickly and we ordered our full meal on her first visit. She delivered our beverages in short order. Within maybe five minutes, she returned to refill our coffees. My coffee was too full to even refill at this point. While she returned one more time to bring our food, she never returned to our table to either offer us more coffee, ask us how our meal was, or even deliver our check. In fact, we had to ask the Host for the check.

The food was overcooked and some of it was burnt. My Spring omelete was dry. My homemade potatoes were more burnt My pancakes were so overcooked that they were actually hard on the surface. My biscuits were hard and dark brown on the outside, chewy on the inside (I expected a nice fluffy biscuit), and inedible.

The price was as I would expect from a modernish diner. But, with that said, I probably wouldn't pay them my hard-earned money to eat...

This is really a good place to go and a great spot to bring your friends and family. Honey Biscuit Breakfast and Lunch is highly recommended! Their menu is so big, all of their food is mouth-watering, and their selection is really great. You will absolutely love all of the food here. Food is always fresh and good. Their portions are so fair and right. Their best seller is the pancakes and skillets that are so incredibly delicious. If you are looking for a great spot to grab some quick breakfast this is the best place to go! Honey Biscuit will surely satisfy your cravings and make your stomach happy. They will do their best to give you an awesome experience. All of their staff here is so attentive, decent, and friendly. They are so nice and they know how to talk professionally. They even greeted me the time I enter the place and also assist me to find a vacant seat. Their service is top-notch. All of them are working so fast. The whole restaurant is so clean, nice, bright, decent, and organized. Their interior is interesting and it has a great atmosphere. Very relaxing and welcoming spot. I would really love to visit here again soon when I am nearby the area. Thank you guys for the awesome service! Will see you guys again soon! I will definitely recommend your restaurant to all the people I know. Thank you! Well...

It doesn't look like much from the outside but it's a cute restaurant on the inside. If you are driving fast, you will miss it.

We went this morning (Saturday morning) and were seated right away with no wait. We had coffee and water at our table within seconds. We took a gander at the menu and decided on 1. Biscuits and Gravy and 2. Eggs your way with Nutella layered cakes.

The service was "ok". Our server was not the friendliest but got the job done. She refilled my coffee without me having to ask her 1x. Our food came quickly. I ordered my eggs "medium" and they were definitely "over easy". The bacon was overcooked but still tasty. The potatoes were yummy, I think they cook them in the bacon grease because they tasted like bacon. Yum. The pancakes were pretty good. Biscuits and gravy was awesome. No issues with that plate. We were offered no refills on our water the entire time.

The server came and dropped the bill off and said "at your convenience, no rush at all'...... but then her service was over with us. I did ask a bus boy for more coffee to drink while I finish off my pancakes.

I would come back here for a quick tasty breakfast. It was overall a nice breakfast. Nothing too bad but nothing that really stuck out or struck me as AMAZING. 3...
