I arrived when there was a lunch special available. I upgraded their panang (rice dish) to beef at an extra fee. A single fried vegetable egg roll and a small cup of tom yum soup are included in the lunch special. Although the soup appears thin, its flavor is still present and not overbearing because it wasn't very sour. The scent of spices and lemongrass are pleasant. The egg roll was nicely crispy. The veggie filling has a flavorful seasoning. It has carrots, onions, and cabbage. Along with it was a side of sour and sweet sauce to dip. The panang was appealing served with rice. The deep orange color of the red curry gravy is enhanced by the bright red hue of the bell pepper and a hint of earthy green basil. The texture of the red curry is thick and velvety, unlike anything I had imagined. The flavor's complexity left my taste buds wanting more; it was savory, creamy, spicy, and sweet.

I liked it so much that I ate it all, but the portion was modest, and I was still hungry, so I got their appetizer, chicken wings, afterwards. There were six pieces. It contains a pleasing balance of flats and drums. It will undoubtedly be filling due to its large size. Due to the wings' heavy coating of chili sauce, the outside lost its crispy quality. Don't be misled by the chili flakes; the Thai chili sauce is more sweet than fiery. It's actually rather moderate. The meat was not done enough. When I confronted the staff and discovered that the flesh was still red and bleeding, they apologized and sent the wings back to the kitchen to be cooked again. I couldn't be angry because the staff informed me before I placed my order that the wings would take longer because of the process, so I was frustrated that I had to wait a long time for them and that they had to be sent back at the same time.

I had their Khao Tom Mud for dessert; it's a simple but tasty dish made of sticky rice with a fresh banana filling and wrapped in a banana leaves. The sticky rice was fragile and gooey at the same time. The banana filling was tender; it also had an undertone of sweetness. The texture of the bean is somewhat solid. The flavor truly hit the spot, and it has a very nostalgic taste that makes me think of something my mom used to give me when I was younger. If they have added coconut milk, it will be excellent.

It was a nice lunch, the food was good, there was some troubleshooting, but it was resolved, and I would most...

Today went there and order my food, clearly mentioned that I am vegan, no meat /meat product/no eggs etc, lady caMe with order and I told her there’s an egg in it, she told me that I never mentioned to her. I told her it’s OK. You can charge me but please don’t make new one and her response was shocking: WhatEver I don’t wanna listen anything. When I mentioned to her was very respectful, but the way she told me whatever in front of 15 more dinner and also I don’t wanna listen anything makes me think that she must/they might not interested/taking care of their customers. Hope she will see this review and think twice before blast on their customers. If you don’t care for your customers, customers won’t care for you. God bless you and...

I have very mixed feelings about my recent experience. On one hand, food was full of flavor and somewhat exceeded my expectations, but on the other hand, what I received was not worth the money I paid. So I ordered red carry and as I mentioned, it was really tasty and full of flavor with heat right on the spot (created a nice tingle but was not overpowering the dish) but there was almost no meat in it (paid extra $1 for beef). There were 5 thin - 1.5" by 1.5" of beef - no more than 2 - 2.5oz of meat, and for a meal - that's just not enough protein. Also, for a big bowl of curry "soup" I only received very small container of rice. I love the flavor but if I'm spening almost $15 on a meal and walk away hungry, that's just not going...

I was so disappointed with the serving size that they gave me for my Beef Panang curry order. The dish only had like 6 very small cuts of beef and a few sliver slices of red bell pepper. The dish was priced at $12.00 and for almost the same cost I can get a buffet lunch at Cuisine of India just across this establishment. Unfortunately, they don’t have a buffet at the time I went to eat and it was a big mistake going to this place. In fairness, the panang curry sauce was good and very generous in portion size but i didn’t order a bowl of soup. I don’t normally write bad reviews of a place but I hope the owners would reconsider their portion size or at least make it up with other “cheaper” ingredients like mushrooms, etc.

Having a name like Pad Thai, you have to wonder how good its Pad Thai really is. We drove past this joint a thousand times, finally we decided to see how legit the dish is. It is good but not the best I have had in Chicagoland, just the right amount of tamarind and sourness, the noodles are wet but not sticky. The beef was tender, yum. The Pad See Ew has a good soy base sauce, love the wide noodles, perfect chew. The Curry fried rice was OK, but I wish there is a little more curry in it, a bit underwhelming. It is an old building, the restaurant is clean but a bit dated. Overall a good place for your Pad Thai fix.
