Rosati's Pizza — Restaurant in Elk Grove Township

I received an email from Rosatis that as a member of their rewards program I had reached 100 points and my reward was emailed to me, it was a coupon for (1) 14" one topping pizza for $8.00. Today 4/11 I ordered my 14" pizza. When I went to pick up my pizza the gentleman at the counter did not want to honor my coupon as he had never seen one like it before. After thinking about it for a while he decided to charge me 9.50 plus tax for my $8.00 pizza. The pizza was great but the rewards program is worthless, if they do not honor it. I guess I will take my business elsewhere as I no longer trust this location or their promotions.

FOLLOW UP TO 4/11 POST:

Today 4/22 the management team at Rosati's Elk Grove contacted me to address any confusion that resulted in how their employees are trained regarding their rewards program. I was assured that all their employees will be trained in how to address their rewards program with their customers. I greatly appreciated their follow up with me and now feel comfortable in changing my original 1 star rating to a 5...

Ordered take out tonight and walked in to pick up our order, mask on as required only to see the entire staff without one, including the cook (at least 1 I could see). In our current environment this is extremely concerning and presents itself as a complete disregard for public safety, as well as their own. I did call to inform the manager who explained that they all wear masks except when talking on the phone. They seemed surprised when I insisted that the cook was not either. I was even put on hold so they could check it out and confirmed that I was telling the truth. I was told that this would be addressed with the owner tomorrow however after reading reviews, this establishment doesn’t seem to take the pandemic seriously. In a time where restaurants are struggling, I am disappointed to see this. At least for the foreseeable future we will be choosing to order take out from the many other establishments who have shown us they do take...
