ASIAN BUFFET — Restaurant in Elkin

It was so very HOT inside this place. I felt like I was in a sauna and killed my appetite as soon as I was seated. (Maybe that's why ... it is a buffet after all) The food was OK ... nothing special about it. Fried items were greasy, and chicken dishes were cut so tiny that I had to search to see if there was actually chicken in it. Veggie dishes were crunchy and very tasty. Sushi options were very limited, and what WAS available looked like it had been there for days. Sushi was not restocked during the hour I was there. I drank water with my buffet, and the amount of chlorine I tasted in the drinking water CANNOT be healthy! Service was practically nonexistent. I was seated and given silverware, then went for my plate. When I got back to my table, the person that seated me was sitting at a table behind me eating a plate of food, so I walked around until I found chopsticks myself. Plates were not cleared away from my table while I dined. When I left, there were 3 dirty plates and 2 dirty bowls on the table. But as soon as I got some dessert, my bill arrived. I paid cash and it took no time for the server to get that from the table! Would not recommend this place to any of my friends as I was not impressed at all with the atmosphere, the food or...

Personally I would say this place is really good!! I usually go in there for lunch and get a to go plate!! The best things in here are the pepper chicken, spicy chicken, and that chicken thats in a tortilla shell i cant get enough of it!! And the prices are pretty cheap for to go!! People that are saying its expensive are just fat💀 like i only get enough that fills me up and its like 4 dollars!! Its so delicious i eat here like every week or every other, definitely one of my top choices for restaurant food!! The staff is always kind to!! I just wish they would keep more of the chicken tortilla wraps out on the buffet🙏 BUT OVERALL ITS A YES FOR ME🙌 like i will eat this place uo anyday, but honestly i wouldn’t sit down and eat the buffet because I can get out cheaper just getting a plate to go, and not hurting my stomach!! And anyone who says this place is bad must not be going to the same buffet i am💀 im eating this place up its so delicious, 10000/10 love...

They charge way too much for take out. Over $6 per pound is absolutely ridiculous. On top of that they don't like bringing you fresh food for the bar, they expect you to eat it if they say it's fresh. No 'mam I don't think so! I asked for fresh rangoons on the bar you didn't want to bring fresh ones and told me $3.99 for a fresh order. What? Obviously you didn't know who you were dealing with. I told you fresh out of the grease and you came back with an order in les than 1min. Not only that then you wanted to put the whole order of rangoons on with my plate to way per pound not only that those were already cooked too and I left the food I had gotten from the bar sitting on the counter and walked out. So you lost money! That one plate would have cost at least $14+ and there was very little food. The food is good when it's fresh but you better get there when it first opens.
