I was "treated" to dinner here for my birthday. I stated several times that I did not want anyone to sing to me. Well, against my wishes, they came out to sing and in their hands, a huge napkin full of cool whip. I told them not to touch me with it, several times. At that point, about eight employees were standing around me trying to coax me into letting them shove cool whip in my face. I said no. They proceeded to put a napkin on my laplap which I grabbed to cover my shirt because it was inevitable that they were going to go against my wishes. They proceeded to sing and cover my entire face with the cool whip. So much that I inhaled the cool whip up my nose. Not only did they humiliate me with the cool whip, they proceeded to stick tortilla chips into the cool whip and shoved a straw into my mouth while I could not see what they were doing . The straw still had the paper on it . I will never dine here again. They pass this off as some tradition but it is not a Mexican tradition. The food was OK at best. My fajitas were also charred and stuck to the dish. The tortillas are not authentic either. They are...
Read moreThis was my first time here, i ordered one of the lunch specials, the#6. Chili rellono, chalopa, and rice. When my food arrived, it looked different from what I was expecting. The chili rellono was a mass of cheese over a ball of meat. No chili at all. Lol The chalopa was a tostada. When I told the waitress that I didn't think this was my order, she assured me that this was what I ordered. She explained that the chili rellono didn't actually have a chili in it. I was also told that the tostada was the same as a chalopa, just flat with some beans added. She said that they have a chili pablona, and she could get that and take my plate back if that's what I wanted. I said yes, please. A few minutes later, she came back to tell me they didn't have any chili pablonas today. Ok I will try it one more time. Maybe yesterday was an off day, or maybe they thought I wouldn't know the difference in a chalopa and a tostada or that a chili rellono was actually a chili stuffed with meat or cheese and covered...
Read moreThis is the first time we have been here since moving to the area. We love Mexican food and wanted to try it out. The prices are great-everything is reasonably priced. HOWEVER, the service was subpar. The waiter ran around like a chicken with his head cut off, slamming plates and yelling at the other employees. We sat there for an hour and a half before our food finally came out to our table. I ordered the #9 chalupa and that was nothing but beans with the lettuce thrown on top of two shells, had no idea there wasn’t going to to be meat. It was just a plate of sides. My husbands taquitos were decent but I pretty much lost my appetite from sitting for so long without our food. A family of four people came in 30 MINUTES after we had ordered and got their food way before we did. Probably won’t be...
