Beijing Express — Restaurant in Elsa

I am not sure why, but Beijin Express dreads me. I have been purchasing here for 4 years and every time I get the same 3 items, a chicken fried rice plate, a chicken lomein, and two sweet and sour sauces. I recently called again to place an order, and when I gave them my name, I was placed on hold, hung up on, and when I tried to call back, was instead greeted by an robot voice telling me I couldn't call and was not able to leave a voice mail and then automatically hung up on again. Throughout these 4 years, I've held my tongue when I received the food and it was under or overcooked, when prices started to rise, or when costumer service was lacking. I was perfectly content with not going to the establishment further, but when I explained my "banishment" to my father for laughs, he decided to call on my behalf to ask if I was disallowed from ordering, which is where he explained the most save face excuse I've ever heard. The manager allegedly explained that sometimes the phone wasn't able to hear me and was placed on hold where the line then disconnected. This of course, is not what had happened, since they clearly heard me and asked for a name and when they heard it was mine, thats when the phone was placed on hold and subsequently dropped. Even if this was timing and it really was an accident, the next logical step on their end would be to call the costumer back, and although I took initiative to do so, I sure as hell did not get a call back after that. The employees of Beijing Express clearly do not wish to work their job...

I ordered the general chow combo, I was given an extra side of rice since they ran out of lo mein. I was not given my egg roll that comes with the combo, and the general chow was pretty dry (was not worth the $12 if you ask me). Not to mention, the horrible customer service that was given. Their employee, Elizabeth not only needs an attitude adjustment, but also needs to be retrained on how to speak and interact with customers. I was given my food at the drive thru window, then was charged, and instead of prepping my drink for me, she stood watching me and waited for me to sign their copy. She took the receipt book back from me and immediately opened it up to check if I left her a tip. While I was asking her for my drink, she ignored me, closed the window, and walked away. I honked a few times trying to get her attention to let her know that she still hadn’t given me my drink. However, she ultimately had another server bring my drink to the window. I tip when the service is good and actually worthy. Definitely not a welcoming environment, will be the last time I visit this...

Some time ago a friend recommend this place so we decided to check it out. We were hooked! Besides any drink they have tasted nasty, the food was excellent. Service too. Then things started changing, new people working there, rude service. Late October we ordered 3 plates to go since we didn't like to eat there because of the drinks, and we're from Donna, and we all ended up sick. Our son ended up in the ER, we went to the Dr Mexico. Food poisoning. I got it the worst. I vomited everything I had in my stomach and kept going until I could not support myself and ended up knelt on the floor feeling like I was going to die. Then the diarrhea started. Lost 6 lbs in a day. The friend that suggested this restaurant just told me his co workers all got sick as well around the same times as us. This place was good enough to drive from Donna to pick up take out but unfortunately that's the last of...
