Whataburger — Restaurant in Elsa

Disappointed. This Whataburger sucks. Ordered a #4 meal (the one that's supposed to have cheese & jalapeños). It came with 2 jalapeños and was undercooked. The manager offered to take my half eaten burger to the back to finish cooking it. I thought she was playing, but no, she was being serious. They also forgot my onion rings & when I informed the employee who brought our food to the table she stated she would get them and she NEVER came back. I think she may have been one of the managers on duty because she was wearing a white button up shirt, (I didn't catch her name but she wore glasses with a black frame). She was too busy being followed around by a young man who was NOT working there and also didn't appear to be a paying customer. It might've been her boyfriend because they resembled dogs in heat. I proceeded to watch her go on break with her male friend & my onion rings were no where to be found. The meat quality has really gone down, you also need to clean your grills more often. The last burger I got had a bad taste partly due to the cheap meat you use. It seems like each time I go in the prices are higher, I'm tired of it and you should be too. Take a picture of the menu and you'll see what I mean about how the prices just keep creeping up and they think we're so dumb that we're not gonna notice. Last year I gave Whataburger business almost every morning, this year I promised myself to stop and I've stuck to that. This location isn't quite as good as the Raymondville location but it's busier and that's where I think mistakes come in. We recently ordered 2 sweet and spicy burgers and we were shocked that we had Pico de Gallo burgers in the bag. The manager was great when my wife called and replaced the burgers. They sometimes don't give you napkins at this location. Raymondville has never made an error or forgotten about napkins or ketchup so maybe we're just spoiled by perfection which is what whataburger is.
