McDonald's — Restaurant in Elsmere

Far be it from me to write a bad review, but I’d feel almost irresponsible if I didn’t. Please do not even waste your time with this place. Go to the one on Kirkwood Highway and save yourself the trouble. The only reason I have given this place so many chances is because it’s less than 5 mins from me. There have been times I’ve driven past on a Saturday around 7pm and it’s closed with no signs. The food is consistently bad and forget about DoorDash. They refuse to give you your entire order so you’re forced to contact DoorDash customer service. I try not to use DoorDash, but working at home sometimes I need to get something that will come quickly. The last time I was at the actual store we sat at the ordering menu for about 5 mins with no response. We then pulled up to the window and saw people in there but they never came to the window to say they were closed or busy or down for maintenance. After sitting for a few moments we see about 4 employees get in their cars and leave driving fast out of the parking lot. It must have been 6pm on a Tuesday. Never coming here again.

TLDR: Just go somewhere else. Not worth...

I get off work, from a restaurant, and expect to get some order done right, and get talked down to because I didn't know what the difference between a meal and a special meal was for chicken nuggets. I was never explained what the difference was after asking three Times, but received my order with an unsweetened hazelnut iced coffee, fries with no salt, and refried chicken nuggets. After asking how old the nuggets were, being told they were fresh, after I specifically said that would change my order. I blew the horn and knocked on the glass and waited for five minutes, with no answer. This is by far the worst service, and food I have received from a fast food restaurant, and didn't come close to anything I imagined I'd be eating after working 14 hours all through mother's day, while trying to get something to eat before I got home. I wouldn't have bothered filling this review out if it wasn't for the ignorant person that was extremely rude to me while also being of absolutely no help. I will just as soon eat out of the dumpster of my work before I EVER go back to...

Since the management has changed it seems that your wait is much LONGER. I waited for fast food approximately 10 minutes to order than the person in front of me pulled off because they never came back to finish the person in the car ahead of me. I pulled up to the area where the menu is and said hello. Then after giving my order I tried to pull around, but the person sitting at the window was giving a long list of their order and it seemed like the cashier and customer were having a long conversation. I waited patiently more than 10 minutes and asked the person in back of me to please move back so I can pull out. They politely did as I asked.

As I pulled out of the line, I heard the young person in the car laugh and then 2 other cars that was in back of me pulled out as well. What is going on at this McDonald because the customers are not "dining in" as if they are going to a restaurant but this is FAST FOOD store.

It is sad to think that you can't treat your customers much better...
