Beans & Brews Coffee House — Restaurant in Ely

I have left twice without getting coffee. The 1st was drive-through and the 2nd was dine in.

#1 I pulled up to the drive-through & ordered. Then I waited 25 minutes for my Americano. No one came to the window to apologize or even take my money. I could see inside; there were no customers & the worker was wandering aimlessly in front of the counter. My order woupd have beeb VERY EASY and quick to make. I left after 25 minutes of waiting for her to bring me my order (or at least take my money).

#2 I went inside the lobby. No one was there. No one behind the counter or at the tables. No one was working. Maybe the one employee was in the bathroom or something, but after 10 minutes, I gave up and went to the Flower Basket for coffee.

Probably the worst B&B I've been to, including ones in smaller towns. Service is so slow and poor, I have left without ordering three times. Each time there was either no one in front of me or one person and i waited 15 minutes before leaving. The coffee is hit or miss. I've been able to order ONE breakfast burrito in the last four attempts, the last excuse being they were still frozen -- at 9am. And what exactly is the problem with them being frozen? They are cooked in an oven or microwave. That store is a sh!t sh0w. Why do I keep going? Because they are fairly new and I assume they'll improve eventually. Plus, it's close to my house and I actually really like the breakfast burritos. But...

We stopped by Beans & Brews Coffeehouse while passing through Ely, Nevada. It’s a good option when there’s no Starbucks around, or even if you just want something different. My husband ordered a regular cold brew, and I had an iced latte. I was actually impressed with how well they pulled the espresso shots. My drink wasn’t sour at all, which is rare. I’ve had plenty of baristas at Starbucks mess that up, but this place nailed it.

The only downside was that they didn’t offer whole milk. They only had 2% or half-and-half, which seemed like a strange limitation. On the bright side, the cheese Danish was excellent. We both really enjoyed that.
