Log Cabin Coffee Drive-Thru — Restaurant in Ely

Well, been going there a long time and I don’t use cash. Every time they would ask me multiple times for cash, not card, and roll their eyes as they reluctantly grabbed the card. Every time got a guilt trip. Finally brought this up to the owner and instead of an apology I get “ yeah we have to pay a fee so we prefer cash.” No apology for poor customer service, just more grief about how inconvenient it is to process cards…..thanks I’ll pass by and continue to go to Northern Grounds where the staff is friendly regardless...

Me and my daughter came to visit Ely for the weekend and I needed to find a spot that had good coffee. The first place we stopped was Northern Grounds. My drink was good but the barista had a crabby attitude and wasn’t friendly at all. Luckily I found Log Cabin which was mostly busy. Decent coffee. Service with a smile can depend on how busy the owner is that day. As with all of Ely, on the higher-priced side and I never seem to get a full cup. I ordered a matcha tea when they had it and it was half-filled. I should have recalled the exact price but it cost me $10 for a small (half cup) with a good tip.
