The store was very cold, you could hear most of the customers complaining. When was food was done the fries were cold, no seasoning and no cheese despite ordering cheese fries. When asked to correct the problem male Manager appeared irritated but complied. Once back to the table I opened my A1 steakburger to add some ketchup. When evaluating my burger there were no mushrooms and onions. I went back to up to the registered. Again when I informed the employee working (which happen to be another manager [female]) she looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language. I informed her again and she looked at me like what is she suppose to do about it. I then informed her I ordered everything on my burger.. she then rolled her eyes and took my tray. Few minute later she returned with my original plate with the added onions and mushrooms and same cold fries as well. At the end of the meal my mother went to the registered to ask for a fry cup to take our fries home.. the male manager gave her a dirty look and his tone seemed very rude. The regular employees were wonderful but the managers were very...
Read moreThis is the 5th Freddy's I've been to. I've tried other Freddy's to try other dishes. Today, I came to this location just to try the burgers. I ordered a Double Original. I had tried a single before and it was horrible. At Freddy's you HAVE to order a double just to taste the beef because they smash the burger patties so thin. I suppose some people like thin, crispy beef patties, but I am not one of them. That also means you're paying more $. A Double Original (with everything) cost me over $6. It was not worth it. "Everything" means sliced white onion, 2 pickle sandwich slices and mustard. The burger wasn't good enough to justify the price. Another disappointing trip to a Freddy's. On a good note, the staff was quite friendly here. I wasn't offered a receipt, which I always get to track my spending so that was disappointing. I suppose Freddy's is a welcome addition to the variety of fast food options in the small city of Emporia, but not a place I would frequent. It's fast food at sit down restaurant pricing. #KCFoodie #CulinaryAdventures...
Read moreI received my concrete today from Freddy’s frozen custard in Emporia, KS. Once I got back home I realized there was a massive hole in the bottom of my concrete after sitting down to eat. Of course by this time it had spilled all over my cup holder in my car, table cloth, and my shirt. From working at Freddy’s in the past, I know that if the blender breaks a cup you feel it and are supposed to make a new one because it is a MAJOR health code violation if there ended up being a piece of plastic in the bottom of the cup that I ingested. This was also a loss of product in this expensive concrete I paid for. This could have been avoided by simply paying attention to the cup that the general manager of this location handed me. Very disappointed. I expect to be compensated for this...
