Bump Coffee — Restaurant in Encinitas

We happened to stumble across this place by pure accident and my wife and I were so happy we did. We tried their empanadas and their mojito coffee.

1st… the empanadas. We had 2 bacon and eggs and 2 Serrano and egg. Both were very flavorful and fulfilling. It really surprised how good both of these empanadas tasted.

2nd… the Mojito coffees. They were so damn delicious. We went back for another round. We really didn’t know what to expect but our taste buds were so satisfied.

This place was recommended to me by a co-worker and I stopped by and ordered their hot pour over coffee. It’s a good cup of coffee, didn’t have a bitter taste, smooth going down.

I love the hospitality. The baristas were friendly, service with a smile and loved the conversations because it gives great local welcoming vibes.

Food was ok, coffee was subpar. Reason for LOW stars: The shop was empty when I arrived; however, a car sporting a “BUMP” bumper sticker was parked in the disability space without a placard or appropriate license plate—likely an employee.
