The Brewers Tap Room — Restaurant in Encinitas

I’d like to follow up on the 1 star review posted below by Mike Hosley. I was there on the day he posted that photo, I’m actually IN the picture. His review is completely unwarranted. First, you cannot go “out the back door”, none of the staff smokes so the cigarette butts he’s referring to are non existent or don’t apply to this business. Second, the staff is very aware of any under age people being in the bar. I’ve seen multiple times when they’ve asked patrons to leave due to age. I can assure you, there was never any 15 year old in this establishment that evening nor any other night. Third, the dog. 🙄 Tucker is not a pit bull, he is the SWEETEST mastiff mutt and is only a puppy. His owner is a dog trainer, and the pup is the most well behaved boy ever. He wants to love on everyone. It funny how Mr. Hosley knows the bite force of a pitt bull but not what one actually looks like. I’m here quite often and really enjoy the staff, the atmosphere and the local, independent craft beer. I, for one, am quite glad that Mr. Hosley won’t be back. We certainly don’t need his negativity or bad attitude in such a cool place!

Felt like I had to risk my leg to get past the giant PIT BULL to order a beer. Having a pit bull in the middle of the floor roaming around ruined the visit completely- also, being a new place, here in Encinitas I was also dismayed to find 20+ cigarette butts outside in the back, no ashtrays or places to put them so the smokers just littered. There's 25+ other places to get a good craft beer in Encinitas. This place is new, so we checked it out- it's 21+ so not kid friendly but there was a 15 year old there. They are off to a rocky start. I will never go back there again. No one else seemed to mind an animal that could exert 700 pounds of pressure per square in in the pathway...

One of the best beer bars in Encinitas. Great rotating selection of local beers that give a lot of local breweries a chance to share their latest cans and drafts. There's always something good on the board, the staff is friendly and the space is perfect. We're here every week, if not for a beer at the bar, then for a 4 pack to-go. Highly...
