Habit Burger & Grill — Restaurant in Encinitas

Ordered New Spicy Chicken sandwich, fresh & tasty. Onions Rings were made just right, crunchy & delicious. I had dessert, chose Chocolate Sundae from 2 flavors offered ( chocolate or strawberry), impressed with quality of soft serve vanilla ice cream, however a bit disappointed that they used chocolate syrup & called it a chocolate sundae. Generous serving size for the price. Gentlemen that rang up my order (twice) was very attentive & polite. Aside from the cook, there was a female at the front counter also working, she appeared occupied with take-out & pick-up orders, however she was indifferent & aloof, her attitude was one of intense focus on her tasks & was not interested in attending to other customers. I stood at the counter for several minutes & she never bothered to inquire if I needed anything or ask how she could help. I waited & the gentleman that took my order initially, did so again when he returned from wiping down tables. For the most part, my experience was pleasant because I went there to eat & the food was good. The air conditioning made it pleasant enough to stay & eat at the location. Except for the male employee that appeared to be flying solo & the cook that prepared food, The Habit had an efficient team serving customers BUT I think you could do without the female employee who was also at the front counter, she's definitely not a team player, her unhelpful attitude & poor manners are the reason for my 3...

Decided to go the habit encinitas location instead of the la costa one and ive learnt my lesson and i WILL NEVER MAKE THAT MISTAKE AGAIN! first me and my friend walk in and want to order in person at the counter, we greet the general manager MARIA (who by the way has a hair net on yet its only covering half her head and not her bangs. THIS IS EXTREMELY UNSANITARY) and she says “just one moment” so we wait…. and wait… it takes around 10 minutes for her to turn back around and just tell to use the self service kisok… some customer service that is. we order and wait for our food and when it arrives the order is completely wrong! my friends charburger is completely empty just meat and bun when she ordered everything. then the lovely maria decides to grace us with her presence again and gets extremely snarky insisting she couldnt be wrong! (she was we checked the receipt) she then begrudgingly fixes our order and now were here writing this shitty review for this shitty restaurant. learn from my misery and save yourself the trouble. I am so upset right now. We placed an online order. Picked it up at the Encinitas location. 3 Santa Fe Cobb salads. All 3 were made incorrectly. Fish instead of grilled chicken were on 2 of them??? No avocado on any of them. Wrong salad dressings. I called and the main service center said to bring them back with the receipt and they would remake them. My brother drove back up. The manager (a Hispanic lady) immediately began to argue saying nothing was wrong with them. It got pretty intense. Unbelievable as all 3 were wrong. After some time, big time attitude on her part and reluctance she had them remade. That was it. No, I'm sorry, no apologies... nothing. She refused to give her name saying it was on the door (which it wasn't). I am seriously appalled at her managerial skills.
