Black Crow Coffee CT — Restaurant in Enfield

TLDR: A grab your coffee and go shop. Nothing more, nothing less. The drink was poorly mixed and the pastries tasted store bought. NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS!!!!! This is NOT the place to go on a coffee date/meet up.

Some more detail: Came in to this coffee shop on a Saturday to do some work. There was one employee there working. There was not many customers. She made my drink, which was mixed so poorly and has so many chunks in it. The cookies tasted store bought. But what REALLY got me was the fact that I sat down next to one of the only outlets so I could charge my laptop, which was right next to the radio which was playing alt rock softly and at a tolerable level. After less than ten minutes the radio had been turned up so loud I could hear it over my heavy metal music blasting in my head phones. Again, this radio was RIGHT NEXT TO ME. It honestly felt like she was trying to get me to leave? Forget sitting there doing work for an hour and then going to use the restroom and it's closed to the public- even paying customer.

So over all, won't be going back here again. If you just want to get out of your car, order a coffee, and then leave- Black Crow Coffee will be fine. If you're looking for anything above that, you'd sadly be better off at...

5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I can’t say enough good things about this coffee shop. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with the rich aroma of freshly ground coffee and the warm, welcoming energy of the staff. The baristas clearly know their craft—every cup is expertly made, whether you’re getting a simple espresso or something more adventurous like a lavender oat milk latte.

The atmosphere is perfect for both catching up with friends and getting some quiet work done. Cozy seating, great lighting, and a tasteful playlist make it easy to stay awhile. Plus, the attention to detail in both the drinks and decor shows how much care goes into running the place.

Their pastries are also a standout—fresh, flavorful, and a great complement to the coffee. It’s become my go-to spot not just for caffeine, but for a quick moment of calm in the middle of a busy day.

This is a fantastic spot with excellent customer service! I sampled the new peach tea and lemonade combo they’re offering for summer, and it was delicious. I appreciated the lively atmosphere, everyone was laughing, and the staff engaged in conversations on various topics, making it easy for everyone to join in (I appreciate that they cared to talk and bring us in conversation so it didn’t feel transactional.) It was very welcoming and inclusive! 5 ⭐️ all day.

It's amusing to see reviews from people upset about not being able to get sugar. Why walk into a coffee shop and complain about having to add your own sugar? Is it really that hard? You can always add it yourself, just like in any other coffee shop. And by the way, Dunkin' and Starbucks aren't exactly real coffee shops and if that’s what you like over sugary with all cream where you just sit back and be lazy, maybe this coffee shop...
